"Mom!" I yelled loud enough for her to finally realize that I was standing in front of her.
"Oh, good morning dear."
"Mom, where is dad?"
"Sweetie I-"
"No mom. Where is my father. I know you guys fight, but you're adults. You need to work it out. Listen I know you both have been stressed, after Allissa...you now, but-"
"Stop. Please. Don't bring her up. You know how I feel about it."
"I'm sorry mom, but you know that she wouldn't want you and dad fighting the way you do. I know this is hard, and my heart was torn into shreds when she passed, but I'm doing okay. Mom, trust me, it gets better, but you have to let it."
"Oh Emily I'm so sorry."
She quickly jumped up and hugged me.
My first instinct was to hug her back, but I didn't.
"I can't believe she's gone." I whispered into her shoulder.
"Do me a favor. Take your own advise."
And with that, she left.
Well, I guess I should at least eat some breakfast.
I grabbed some cereal and sat on our long leather couch.
Then, the doorbell rang.
"It's open!" I shouted being too lazy to answer it.
"Bill!"
I was surprised to see a thin, model-like woman standing in the doorframe.
Dad quickly ran in.
"Dad! Where have you been?"
"He's been with me. And what are you?"
"Excuse you, bitch! I'm his daughter."
"Emily! You apologize this moment."
"I will not!"
"Teresa I'm sorry about her. She doesn't normally act this way." my dad said while turning to her.
She grabbed his cheeks and kissed him.
"What the hell are you doing?!?!" I yelled loud enough to wake the whole neighborhood.
" Well he is my boyfriend after all. she answered.
"Oh yeah you're a real 'saint' aren't you?"
"Watch it!"
"Make me!"
"Enough!" my dad stopped us.
That bitch got lucky cause I was about to knock her boobs out and give them back to Nikki Manaj, or however you spell her name.
"Get the hell out of my house!" I screamed in her face.
"Fine! Bill, I'll be in the car."
"Emily-"
I cut him off.
"Get out!"
"Don't, please don't push me away."
"You did this to yourself." I said right before I slammed the door in his face.
I ran upstairs to my room and started balling my eyes out.
What the hell?
