Normal POV

Nerris. She's your average playful magician, genuinely kind but can be slightly nefarious when messed with in the wrong way....especially the magic incident with Neil (Persona-switch w/Spacekid), scarred both him and Nikki (Persona-switch w/Max). Nerris' rival. Harrison. He was always so weird with his roleplay magic, which was far from real magic, and then they became rivals.

Nerris POV

"Well well, if it isn't the pixie!" He taunts. "Oh hey Harrison. Wanna see a magic trick?" I ask him. "Why would I want to watch your dumb tricks?" He says sarcastically. "Ouch that hurt." I admit with a wince. "Ugh, I only came here to find my dice. I lost mine." He says irritated by me. "You mean these dice?" I ask magically pulling the 4 dice in between my fingers. "Yes now gimme!" He says trying to snatch them off me but I hide them in a truck in my pocket. He doesn't know that though obviously. "Poof! It's gone~" I tease. "Bitch! Give them back!" He says annoyed and pulls out his sword. "Hold on! I'll give them back if you don't beat me up and... watch at least one of my shows?" I suggest. "Isn't not beating you up, reason enough?" He says still annoyed with my shenanigans. I chuckle. "No." I say. He groans in irritation. "Fine! Just hurry so I can go back to my round with Maggie." He says. "Okay!" I hurry to my stage. "Harrison~ Let me show you the show of a lifetime!" I say as five fire rings appear around me with the snap of a finger. "Okay, Mr Waffles! You can do this!" I whisper to my brown speckled dove. He coos and I take off my hat and Mr Waffles flies out and swoops in and out of the rings and I use my card tricks as I shuffle the deck as they fly from my left to my right hand, and reshuffle.

"Okay. Pick one of these cards, tell me when to stop shuffling!" I say continuing to shuffle the deck of cards. "Hm... now!" He says. "Okay then." I briefly give him the card without looking. I shuffle my deck and I make it disappear. "I'll snap my fingers and you have to cover the card in your hands, clench it if you want." I say. He does so. I take my hat off and let Maggie swoop into my hat, the fire disappears too. "Now. Watch as I pull it out of my hat!" I say tapping it and a string of cards come out and I shuffle it once more, pulling out the same card. He opens his hand and no card was inside...but a small rose bud. A light blush appears on his cheeks.

I walk off stage closer to him. I lean in and hold my card with a proud smile on my face. "Was this the card?" I ask him. He huffs. "Yeah...now give me some space, idiot!" He pushes me away. "Okay~ What about my performance-" I begin but he shouts. "It was stupid!" My smile turns into a bitter frown...and I feel myself get sad and I put my hat back on. "Oh... Okay. I'll work on it." I say giving a weak smile then I run off. Fuck's sake! Why am I so sad about this?! And the rose bud...did I give it to him to tease him or...did I actually like him? The guy who non-stop hates me, the same person who always mocks me and yet I still...couldn't help falling in love with him...

Harrison POV

"Nerris...?" I mumble confused. Was she teasing me? I mean I understand...we are very competitive rivals, but I guess we have some sort of mutual respect for each other? I mean I enjoy being with her. She's really nice, despite being a stupid pixie...Did she really mean the rose bud? Symbol of adoration, romance and love? For me? Harrison the charming?

My cheeks heat up as I stare at the Rose bud in my palms. It was still fresh...smelled sweet and- "Hey Harrison, you drooling over Nerris?" Max comments. "Of course not! Prince Max, why bother over it-" I say but he interrupts me. "You looooooovvvvvvveeeee heeeerrrrrr~" He teases. "The good sir does NOT have a crush on that pixie!" I say. "Mhmm. Then why do I always see you staring at her at every magic performance she does? Hm?" He asks with a smug face. "Ugh. Max. There you are, shits gone deep, have you seen Neil? I need something to cover up that explosion." Nikki says. "Gotcha! Do I wanna cover up a crime? Anything for my beeest friend!" He says enthusiastically. "Your sweetness is sickening." She says annoyed. "Aw! You love me too~" He teases and hugs her. "N-No I don't!" She says pushing him off. "Okaaay~" Max teases. I smile at this. "What are you looking at?" Nikki says with a heavy blush. "You guys would make a nice couple." I chuckle. "Hah. Yeah right, maybe if you grow the balls to ask Nerris on a date." Nikki taunts. I blush. "What the- I hate her! I-I-I would never like that pixie girl!" I say in objection. "Haha don't lie! Explain why your blushing, stuttering and holding that rose bud from her performance?" Max says with a huff and Nikki smirks at me. I sigh. I know I'm not going to be able to get myself out of this one...

"I think I said something really mean to her." I say to the two. "HAHAHA! Really fucking stupid dude-" Nikki begins but Max covers her mouth. "So you made a mistake, now you know what you did. Do you know what you want to do now?" He asks. "Ouch! Nikki did you bite me?!" Max retreats his hand. "Well...I think she might be in the mess hall, her magic stage or... maybe.." I begin thinking. "Why not check back at the stage, maybe backstage?" Nikki suggests. "Yeah! Backstage! I'll be back!" I say to them. "Fucking moron." Nikki says. "Let's go wreck shit, until we find Neil and blame it on him." Nikki adds. "Yay! Let's go destroy the camp!" Max cheers.

I run over to the stage and I..hear some feint crying noises. "N...Nerris?" I ask. She sniffles. "W-What now?" She asks. "I thougt you hated Pixies like me." She says. I wince mentally at how harsh that was, for her anyways. "I'm...sorry. Nerris. I really didn't mean to hurt you. I just. I just! Reallydidn'twantyoutothinkIwasweak." I say the last part really fast. I see her ears twitch. She lifts her head and I could see the sad tears on her face. She wipes them. "I don't think your weak, Harrison. You actually are pretty cool...hah for a shitty nerd." She chuckles. "Agh. I'm not a nerd, four-eyes." I spit back with a blush. "Gosh, you suck." She says with another sniffle. "No, you're the sucking one!" I retort. We look at each other for a moment and we suddenly burst out laughing. The laughter dies down and she offers a place beside her. I sit down. "I thought you hated me. Don't you?" She asks with a sad helpless face. I blush. "Maybe I did...but I guess it changed? Gah! I don't know! I think I really like you Nerris!" I blurt out. I feel nervous and sweaty, I brace myself for a hit or maybe even a kiss?

I slightly open my eyes. She had a blush on her face. "But...do you really mean it? I mean you even said it yourself...what's so special about a four-eyes shitty magic nerd like me?" She asks me. I muster all the courage I have I pull her into a kiss. She looks shocked. I grip her shoulders. "Nerris! Stop being so negative, I was always joking with you! I love you Nerris! You're talented, kind, super cool with your magic, so fucking adorable and...I think you're beautiful too. Like a rose." I say to her. She smiles at me. "Thanks...Harrison. I'm sorry for being w- I mean for all of this." She chuckles. I smile at her. She really is something... "And I love you too." She says nuzzling her face briefly on the side of my neck. I caught me off guard and I blush heavily. "D-Don't do that so suddenly!" I say to her. "I'm guessing you really liked that, huh~? You perv." She teases, sticking her tongue out at me. "I'm not a perv! You are!" I say childishly.

"Are we interrupting something?" Nikki asks with a laugh, holding Gwen's phone out from her pocket to take some pictures along with the video of it. "Ooooh! It was getting to the good part!" Max says with a happy tone. "Busted!" David says with a laugh. "Oh shit! When did you guys-?!" I begin flustered. "Languaaage~ It was too cute to resist! Plus David insisted on going with us to see such a romantic moment~" Gwen says cheerfully. "Yeah this is shipping gold, holy fuck this is so fanfic inspiring." David writes some stuff in his notepad. "Oh David! Please mind your language!" Gwen says. "Pshh. Losers." Nikki says with a laugh.

We both bury our faces in our hands in embarrassment, with the rumours spreading quickly, the news of it was everywhere. Even in other camps. It was embarrassing. But at least I was there...with her by my side.
