"Hey, Faye, you have a visitor," Faye's younger half sister said, cracking open the door of the Aphrodite cabin.
Faye shrugged, thinking Chiron needed her or something along those lines. "I'll be out there in a second," she shouted over her shoulder and put down her mirror she was using to fix her makeup.
"That's alright, dear," a melodious, light voice filled the room. Faye turned her head slowly, fearing an enemy had made their way into the camp. In front of the door stood an absolutely gorgeous woman, her face and hair changing each second. She looked like a mash up of all of the famous movie stars. The woman had a pink glow to her, and of course, an elongated pink dress that brushed her ankles.
"Aphrodite," Faye breathed out, taking in her mother's stunning appearance.
Aphrodite shook her head, and let her blinding white smile shine through. "No, dear, I'm Venus."
Faye bit her lip, confused, had the goddess gotten the Roman and Greek camps messed up or what? "May I ask why you are visiting me today? I've never met you before."
"Sorry about that," Venus brushed away a part of her ever changing hair. "I've come to tell you of a task you have ahead of you and your half sister, Piper."

"F-Father?" Damien backed into the wall of his empty English classroom, hitting his spine hard against the brick. "What are you doing here?"
Vulcan smiled, revealing several missing and blackened teeth. He placed one of his meaty, over sized hands on Damien's shoulder. "I told you I'd have a task for you to prove my worthiness."
Damien tried his best to politely brush Vulcan's hand from his shoulder, seeing as his hand was covered in speckles of grease and dirt. "And what is this quest you speak of?"
Vulcan rubbed his hands together, then on his dirty overalls. "You will fight, and prove yourself to be worthy as my son."
"How will I fight?" Damien relaxed slightly, he had been fighting monsters and demons his entire life.
"The other gods, they're bringing forward their best children to fight to the death in a special area we have created just for you. Each god can have either one or two children participate. Understand?"
Damien sighed. He knew he wasn't going to get 100% of the answers he wanted, so he just nodded.
"I'll send a messenger when the time arrives," Vulcan said before turning into a pile of dust before his eyes.

"You are not my first choice, but you are among the strongest," Mars said, with a snarl.
Earlier, Edward hadn't had the best experiences with his father, but he was ready to redeem himself for any cost. "Yes, Mars," he replied, covering any emotion his voice. Earlier, Mars had sent him to defeat the titans, but that cursed son of Jupiter, Jason, had to ruin everything by being the hero. His chance for revenge was coming, and he wasn't about to waste the opportunity to kill him with his bare hands.
The God nodded, then scratched his ragged stubble on his chin.
Without saying another word, Mars disappeared in a glow of Godly light.

"Piper, we're going to die," Jason panicked, running a hand through his smooth blonde hair. He paced back and forth across the room, his heart beating faster and faster each moment. Jason couldn't believe what his father has just told him.
Thalia and Jason had to participate in what the gods were calling 'The Demigod Games', which basically was a fight to the death in some arena that comes with several challenges. But the goal was to survive, and only one was going to be allowed to.
Piper tapped her fingers on her white desk in her bedroom. Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Repeat. She knew that this wasn't like her mother, especially since all she cared about was sit coms and drama. Since when did she start caring about her so called 'honor'. It wasn't like them, something was wrong. "Don' you think something's up, Jason?" Piper turned her head to face her boyfriend.
Jason's face relaxed temporarily, only to tighten up once again in worry. "Of course, but we don' thave time to thing about that, we have to think about the both of us getting out alive." He reached over to Piper and brushed a long braid out from her eyes and behind her ears. "I don't know what I'd do without you. You have to win."
"No, you have to win," Piper argued, knowing she was barely any use in defeating Gaea than Jason. Jason was the almighty lightning guy, the guy who could fly and summon a storm for you. Not the kind of person a titan would want to mess with. Out of nowhere, Jason lifted Piper's chin and pecked her lips lightly.
"Piper, I'm going to get you out alive, even if it's the last thing I do."

Annabeth hung from a cliff, her fingertips clenching onto the dirt, but slipping quickly. She dropped her backpack down a chasm, not hearing it hit the ground at all. It was all dark. She couldn't see a thing.
Percy suddenly came into her view, trying to grab her hand, but being violently pushed over the edge by a person without a face before he could save her.
The faceless person stomped on Annabeth's last finger tips, making her fall endlessly.
Annabeth woke with a start, waking Percy up along with her. They had fallen asleep on the cold wooden floor with books resting on their chests. Percy's arm served as Annabeth's pillow for the duration.
The thing with demigod dreams is that they're never peaceful, no matter what. It's impossible to get a good night's sleep.
"Sorry," Annabeth murmured drowsily as she lifted herself off of Percy. Percy buried his face in a bunched a sweat shirt and groaned.
"I don't want to wake up," his voice was muffled.
Annabeth left him in his cabin alone. The boy could survive ten minutes by himself as Annabeth cleaned up.
On her way to the bath room, she heard a low, malicious laugh from the Ares cabin. Annabeth looked left and right, but saw no one. She bolted to the cabin, making no noise, stepping on no leaves and crouched besides a bush.
"That is an excellent plan to kill the spawn of Athena and Poseidon, father," a low female voice growled with enthusiasm.
Clarisse.
