THE BEGINNING

31st century, an era of science fiction, is the time when humans thought that they had conquered the Mother Nature. Humans had already discovered a way to fly by injecting themselves with birds DNA. However, its effect could only last for limited period of time (15 seconds at the most). Humans used their own robotic machines in different sectors and, as a matter of fact, these machines could somewhat think and persuade like humans. There were only two things, which the humans thought, are left to discover. First, it was mystery of the world and what’s beyond it. Second, time travel which was almost impossible, they presumed.

In this era, the question is, do love and humanity still prevail among people? Or science had already overtaken these human emotions?

CHAPTER 1

Aliza: (Trying to wake her son up from the bed) Good morning, son.

Ereath: Good morning mom. (Falls back to sleep)

Aliza: Wake up, Ereath. You’re too much lazy for a genius at his age.

Ereath: (Yawning) A’righ…. Mom… errr (Goes to the bathroom)

After 15 minutes, he sits down for the breakfast with his mom.

Aliza: What are doing and how is your high school nowadays? (A small robot brings them their breakfast)

Ereath: I am doing some research on the natural rhythm of earth’s revolution. I might be able to achieve something worthy if I am successful. And high school is boring as always.

Aliza: Don’t have friends or err.. A girlfriend?

Ereath: MOM!!!! (Blushing)

Aliza: Alright, alright!!! (After a while)….Eat your food and go to the school and remember you won’t be using that injection to fly. Don’t know what kind of drug it is. You will just walk today.

Ereath: Okay mom. (Gets up) Bye mom. I am off to the school.

Aliza: Okay, I love you, son.

Ereath: I love you too, mom.

(Walking on the footpath, seeing the people fly, robots walk, Ereath was forwarding towards his school. Just after a moment, he stroke with an unknown person.)

Ereath: I am extremely sorry, I couldn’t see that coming (noticing that it was a girl from his school)… Errr

Lisa: Don’t you have eyes (confirming that it was the genius of her own school), Mr. Genius freak. I almost broke my legs. Who would have been responsible if something happened to me?

Ereath: I am really sorry. I was.. wasn’t … Err

Lisa: It’s alright (thinking that he looked cute in that expression), be careful next time onwards. Now take me to the school with you.

Saying this they started walking together to the school

Ereath: Why don’t you have your usual friends around with you?

Lisa: No, I was late so they went on their own. And you had time to notice me with my friends? I sense something fishy (Giving a sly look)

Ereath: N-no… No, I-I just h-happened to n-n-notice once. (Feeling embarrassed and looking down)

Lisa: Someone’s feeling embarrassed. (Trying to add on)

After this they walk silently for a while then,

Lisa: Are you always so silent and like, isolated, Mr. Genius?

Ereath: I spend my raw time researching and doing other stuff. So, I don’t get time to make friends. And students in the school find me boring so, they don’t like to be with me.

Lisa: Oh! Why don’t you try to spend some of your time with them and try to enjoy sometimes.. You know, you can go out sometimes.

Ereath: I will try, someday, maybe.

Lisa: I have a party at my house tonight… You can join me today, if you want, that is…

Ereath: I-I don’t know… (Not being able to answer to the first girl with whom he had talked that much)

They get in front of the school gate and Lisa’s friends appear forth them... Just after a moment, they grab her hands and then pull her, trying to take her elsewhere

Lisa: Think about it, I will be waiting for you today….. BYEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
