"Any stores you like?" Christi asked, I shook my head, still dumbfounded by how casual she was.

"Hey, no shyness around me. Kay?"

She scolded me for my prolonged silence, I glanced at her.

"Um, sorry. No, I don't like any specific stores..." Christi smirked and I looked away again, feeling stupid.

"No need to apologize, its just, we are both dating band members, we are the only females around right now. Unless Daisy, Sarah or Pogo gets a girl, we have to stick together." She smiled a bit and I eased up some.

"I know, I'm just quiet when I'm not used to people... I'll warm up to you though, no worries..." I sighed shocked that I had been so straight forward, but feeling relieved at the same time.

"Ugh, same here. I used to be so damned awkward, until I met Marilyn. We kind of balanced the other out, ya know? He loosened me up and I calmed him down. Not much obviously..." She chuckled and I nodded.

"So you and Jeordie are dating, huh?" I looked down and then to her, "I'm honestly not sure."

"But you said you were earlier..." She brought up what I said in the kitchen and I shrugged awkwardly. "I know what I said, but it's not official. He was just hanging there, not knowing what to call me, so I said that. It was the first thing that came to mind." She nodded, "Oh, alright. I understand conpletely." I nodded and sighed, trying to calm my nerves.

"Dude, chill out. You're acting like I'm some sort of ax murderer." I shook my head, while she laughed more, "I'm sorry. I don't mean to... Like I said, I just get nervous..." She smiled and turned the radio on. "Does that help? I know music helps me when I'm nervous." I nodded. "Thank you..."

"So tell me about you?" I sighed, my least favorite topic...

"Um... My name's Emberlynn Rayann Grey... I'm a makeup artist for movies and TV shows... That's all." She nodded. "Interesting, I'm sure there's more. I won't push it right now though. I'm Christi Alexandria Anderson. I design clothes, gothic style mostly. I've designed some outfits for Burlesque shows and Playboy. Though in those cases, there's not much to design." She laughed again. "That's amazing." I smiled, truly impressed.

"Well thank ya, you know, you aren't so bad." She smiled at me before she looked back at the road.

"Thanks?" I laughed, this time my laugh was followed by hers.

The friendship was forming.
