"Let's go to the pizza place down the road!" Christi called loudly as she walked back in the room, drying her hair.

Marilyn walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing her neck.

She giggled and linked her fingers with his.

"But I'm comfy!" Jeordie whined, his arms tightened around me. I laughed and cuddled up closer to him.

"Too bad! Let's go!" Marilyn ordered from behind Christi, causing her to give him a look.

I got up and pulled Jeordie up with me, "We should go." I smiled as he hugged me again.

"Get in the car love birds!" Christi giggled and grabbed the keys before tossing them to Marilyn and running outside.

Jeordie and I followed her out and Marilyn locked the door behind us.

We slid into the back seat of the car awkwardly while Christi and Marilyn got in the front.

"TIME TO RIDE!" Marilyn laughed wickedly and zoomed out of the driveway.

"Marilyn! What are you doing!?" He sped down the road as Christi yelped and punched his arm.

"What's that? You said go faster?" He laughed and sped up.

"Marilyn!!! Slow down!" I yelled from the back, Jeordie looked at me and grabbed my hand to calm me. I've never understood his calm demeanor, sure, he can be crazy just like everyone else, but most times its just serene.

Christi and I snapped around and looked behind us at the sound of police sirens, Jeordie acted like it happens all the time ( acting like Mr. Calm as usual.) Marilyn finally slowly pulled over and waited.

The officer walked up. "Sir, do you know how fast you were going?" The cop asked with a stern look, I put my head down and tried to hide my face.

"Too fast for you to catch me." Marilyn smirked and leaned back, hinting that he was just getting started, Christi sighed. Jeordie laughed and accidentally encouraged him, which caused the cop to look into the backseat and send a glare in our direction. Jeordie just smirked, fueling the fire.

"Sir, you were going twenty miles over the speed limit. I'm going to have to give you a ticket..." The cop turned back to Marilyn and ignored his smug persona.

The cop wrote quickly on a piece of paper and ripped it off, handing it to Marilyn. He took it with a bright look on his face.

"OHHHHH MY GODDDD! MY VERY OWN PIECE OF PAPER! HA! YES!" With that he floored it, leaving the cop behind to run to his car to catch us once again.

"Marilyn! I don't want to go to jail! Stop being stupid!" I called from the backseat. "Seriously!" Christi yelled and agreed with me. He turned a bit, "Shut up. Give me your jacket, Ember. Jeordie, give me your glasses, and Christi, hand me a hair tie." We all sighed and gave him what he wanted, he used his knee to drive.

He put on my jacket, pulled his long hair into a pony tail, and put on Jeordie's glasses.

He pulled over and waited for the cop again.

The cop walked up and Marilyn rolled the window down, hanging his head out. "Yesssssssssss?" He asked in a girly voice. Jeordie put his head down as low as possible and laughed his ass off. Christi simply growled and slammed her head against the window.

"Sir, you've sped twice now, creating a harmful situation for you, your passengers and the people around you."

Marilyn nodded and pouted, "But sir..." With that he pulled down his shirt to reveal a flat chest and multiple scars.

The cop sighed, not finding any of this funny, unlike Jeordie.

"Listen, pay the ticket I gave you and slow down."

"SIR, YES, SIR!" He called loudly and drove off again, throwing me my jacket, Jeordie his glasses and Christi her hair tie.

I glanced over at Jeordie who was smiling and laughing silently, then to Christi, who was scolding Marilyn but couldn't keep a straight face.

I sighed and looked out the car window, maybe I'm too uptight...

A hand wrapped around my wrist and pulled me across the backseat.

"What are you doing?" I laughed quietly.

Jeordie smiled and draped his arm across my shoulders, I wrapped my arms around his torso and cuddled up to him, feeling better with every thud of his heart.
