Sophie Foster thought she was safe. Settled into her home at Havenfield, surrounded by friends, and using her unique telepathic abilities to train Silveny—the first female alicorn ever seen in the Lost Cities—her life finally seems to be coming together. But Sophie's kidnappers are still out there; not to mention her friend is involved with them. MEET THE CAST ...

FITZ - Fitz Vacker is a fifteen-year-old elf belonging to the Vacker family and lives in Everglen. He was a Level Four prodigy at Foxfire, a prestigious elf school, in Keeper of the Lost Cities. In Exile, he became a Level Five prodigy. Fitz is tall and dark-haired, with bright teal eyes. Many girls, including Sophie Foster, think he is very attractive. Fitz is a talented telepath. He is able to hear other's thoughts and successfully block anyone who tries to enter his mind, usually. Sophie is the only one so far to be able to enter Fitz's mind other than Quinlin.

SOPHIE - Sophie Foster developed her telepathic abilities at the age of five, when she hit her head. She woke up in the hospital, suddenly able to hear everyone's thoughts. She is also known to have had a severe allergic reaction to limbium, a rare mineral, which the human doctors could not identify. She skipped many grades, eventually becoming a twelve-year-old high school senior courtesy of her photographic memory and her other skills. She got accepted to Yale, but her parents did not allow her to go, instead choosing to have her attend San Diego City College, thinking it was a better choice for her. On a field trip to the National History Museum, she met another mind reading elf named Fitz, who brought her to Eternalia, one of the lost cities. She has abilities like telepathy, telekinesis, infliction, photographic memory and polygot. Sophie has shoulder-length blond hair and brown eyes which sets her apart from the other elves who all share the same blue eyes. It is shown that she is attractive, shown when Della told Sophie that she will become a heart-breaker when she grows up.

KEEFE - Keefe is an only child and his best friend is Fitz. He usually hang out with the Vackers and treat them like a family. Most of the time, Keefe plays Base Quest with Fitz, Biana, and Sophie. He also likes to play Bramble with Fitz although Keefe always cheats. At home, his mother ignores him and his father always scolds him. Keefe always tries to impress his father. He has fun teasing people-especially Sophie. He is also kind to Sophie when she is at her weakest. He suggested to Elwin to name the Healing Center the Foster Center because of how many times Sophie had to go there. His special abilities are Empathy, Mimicry, and Photographic Memory. Later in my story, he uses her. WHY? I don't know....

BIANA - Biana is said to be very pretty. She has dark hair and teal eyes. She has a lot of "girly" things such as hair curlers, lip gloss, jeweled combs, and bright dresses. Biana dislikes and avoids Sophie. Her father, Alden, later makes her become friends with Sophie so that Sophie will go over to their house more often. Biana ends up actually liking Sophie and they become true friends. She also seems to have a crush on Keefe but gets disappointed when he doesn't seem to return her feelings. Her ability is vanishing.

DEX - Dex is described as skinny and short, with tousled strawberry blond hair and periwinkle eyes. He has dramatic dimples when he smiles. Dex is a Technopath, which he describes as being able to ask mechanical and electric devices how to do what he wants and have them respond. Dex is also very good at alchemy and elixir brewing. He helps out in his father's apothecary, Slurps and Burps.
