chapter 8

Sophie's Pov

I woke up to the smell of chocolate and pancakes; my favorite breakfast. I groggily got up from bed and made my way towards the bathroom until a pair of strong hands wrapped around my body.

"I see you're up, baby girl." Keefe said soothingly into myear making me giggle at the heart fluttering nickname. He bit down on my earlobe making me moan and titling my head to the opposite side to give him more access to my neck. He gave me sloppy kisses descending from my  earlobe to my neck, biting down on it giving me a love bite.

"Hurry up then we'll breakfast." I mumbled a quiet okay, as my heart was pounding in my ears making him chuckle in response. I quickly scurried away and locked myself up in the bathroom.

I looked the love bite that was imprinted onmy fair neck. One word it was HUGE and red? Purple? Oh whatever. He just marked me his.

I was silently fangirling about thw love bite until I heard a knock on the door. "I can hear you, babe." I blushed furiously and washed my face until my phone vibrated and fell from the marble slap. I picked it up, silently praying that it didn't break. I open it and saw there was an unknown message: BEWARE...

Me: of what? I quickly replied back.

Anonymous dude: of the consequences that you have ahead.

Me: stop with whatever prank you're playing withme and stop texting me.

Anonymous dude: whatever you say but in the end you are going to regret all of this so prepare what's ahead of you or you'll be drowning in your own wounds if you do not choose wisely.

Me: who are you? The bad guy or the good guy? It's not even funny anymore

Anonymous dude: Both. And BEWARE

I didn't even text that person back, I was scared shitless. I dont know if he's lying or not, he sounded so serious. What was wrong? Why did he said beware, twice? I was pulled out of my thoughts when there was a knock on the door.

"Are you sure you're not sleeping?" Keefe said with a teasing tone which made my insides melt.

"Just a sec!" I shouted out and began wondering again about the mysterious text. I made a mental note to talk to Fitz as I haven't talked to him  in a while maybe I'll ask him what's it about. I opened the door to find keefe leaning down on the bedroom door......shirtless...... I was gawking at his toned body until Keefe cleared his throat.

"Put a shirt on!" I covered my eyes even when I didn't  wanted to.

"I thought you enjoyed the view." He said huskily and came towards me.

"No I didn't, just put a damn shirt on!" I ran downstairs and heard him chuckle. After a minute he arrived at the kitchen island.
