"it's been exactly a month since yoomi started hanging out with us and since she first came to the school! i think this is something to celebrate." daehwi said. "what do you think yoomi?"

i couldn't concentrate the whole day today. my mind has been going blank not only in class but also right now. i couldn't help it, considering it's been exactly a month since...

"yoomi, are you okay?" dahee brought me back to reality. "you've been blanking out.. is everything alright?"

"y-yeah... i just— i'm just not feeling good right now. not because of the food or anything, i-i just—"

"it's okay... i think we understand." daehwi said, comforting me by hugging me from the side. "we love you okay?"

"thanks... but i think i wanna go to the place now." i said. i softly got up from the seat and greeted them, smiling softly.

as i left the place, they began to feel a bit down for me. "guys, do you think.. we should come with her?" woojin asked.

"where is she going?" youngmin asked, showing some care for once.

"s-she... her parents.. she's visiting her parents." donghyun replied.

"did they, you know—"

"yes woong.. it's why she's so sad." daehwi looked down. "2-3 years ago today, her parents passed... so it's why she's feeling a bit down, as much as she wanted to celebrate today, she can't help but think about that."

"well.. i think one of us should go with her, but not all of us. it would be too crowded." woong suggested. "i'm.. not as close with yoomi, so i don't know if i should go—"

"i think you should go with her, woong. she'd appreciate it if you came because i think you're the only one she actually stands." daehwi softly chuckled. "plus, you guys were going to go out today right? i think that should comfort her."
