Chapter 13|| realising Hanahaki..

It was middle of the night.. I decided to take a walk since it was the only time I could be alone and think clearly.. 'Why was I coughing petals earlier? Was I only dreaming? Am I about to die? What the fuc-' My thoughts were cut off because I bumped into someone causing me to fall down to my butt. "Y/n?" I heard a sleepy voice.. Oh no.. Not her... I looked up and it was Momo. "Momo? Why are you still awake?" I asked. "I should be asking you that. I just drank some water since I was really thirsty.. How about you? What are you doing here?" She asked. "Oh.. I just decided to get some fresh air since it's really hot in the tent." I answered politely. "That reminds me.. Has something  happened between you and Todoroki? Since you know... tentmates... I mean- its not like I'm jealous or anything okay? Ehehe..." After her asking that... I remembered everything that happened in the tent... It made me very lonely as Todoroki's words repeated to my head "just friends" My eyes teared up a little. That thought made me forgot that Momo was still in front of me... "Y/n? Are you okay? You're crying... I think.." She said worriedly and kneeled down. "Y-yes... I-I'm okay" I said while tearing up. I can't hold my tears this time so I pushed her out of my way and ran to the bathroom. "Y/N!!" I heard Momo shouted and heard her following me. I locked myself into one of the stalls and cried silently. I felt that sh*tty feeling in my throat again. Then I started to threw up. I heard the bathroom door opened. I assumed it was Momo and I was right. I think she heard the vomiting sounds. She gently knocked to the stall I'm in and asked "Y/n are you okay?! It looks like you're sick.. Do you want me to call a Sensei?" My eyes widened. "No- Please don't call a Sensei! I don't want them to see how weak I am!" I said to Momo. "But Y/n,you're sick!" She debated. "No please no!" I said and threw up again. She managed to open the stall and patted my back. "Do you need something?" She asked. I wiped my mouth and asked "Do you know a sickness the coughs and throws up petals Momo?" "You mean Hanahaki?" She asked. "What's a Hanahaki?" "Its a disease in which the victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. It ends when the beloved returns their feelings but it has to be romantically not friendly, or when the victim dies. It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's romantic feelings for their love also disappears. Why are you asking?" She asked. I pointed that toilet I threw up on and it showed petals whit mix of my saliva. Her eyes widened as she covered her mouth. She looked at me with terrified eyes while I look at her with teary eyes. She hugged me and said "lets go and get some water for you. I'm sorry to hear this Y/n" We both go back and get some water. We talked about things and Kuyashi came.

"What are you guys doing late at this night?" He asked. "Nothing" we both said in unison. I looked at Kuyashi's black hoodie and said "You're hoodie is really cute. Its plain but at least there's a bit of design on it" "I agree with Y/n. The red heart in it makes it really cute" Momo said. "Thanks!" He said. I shivered because it was really cold. "Its really COLD here,Kuyashi~" I said to him,signalling him to get me a hoodie. "Get your own hoodie Y/n" He said while sticking his tongue out. I smacked him and said "GET ME A HOODIE" irritatedly. Momo chuckles lightly as she watches us fight. "Okay! Okay! Chill!" He said. He took off his and gave it to me. I wore it and sighed in comfort. "Your hoodie is really comfy,Kuyashi.." I said. "You guys are really close. You guys would make a great couple~" Momo said.

Kuyashi's pov
I blushed at what Momo said. Y/n laughs loudly while I sweat dropped. "This guy?! Pfft- AHAHAHA! Were just friends Momo!" Y/n said. My heart aches just hearing "just friends" from her.. Why does she have to say that?!

No one's pov
"Oh? Is that so? Dang! You guys would look cute together but I respect that decision" Momo said. After a few minutes,Bakugo came. "What the f*ck is going on here?!" Bakugo asked angrily. "Just a little talk here. Wanna join?" You asked. "Don't mind if I f*cking do!" Bakugo said and joins. We talked a lot about anime and strongest in the class. "That reminds me. What is your quirk Y/n-san?" Momo asked. "Oh.. Its Elements. I could use it for many sh*ts but I only could use one." You said. "That's amazing!" Momo said. "Well it's getting late.. We all should go back to sleep.." Kuyashi said and yawned. "I'm just going to get something to drink" Bakugo said. "Imma just go to the rest room! Goodnight!" You said. "Goodnight!" They all greeted back. You went to the rest room and cough a little petals. You didn't worry suffering because it was for your love,Shoto.

You wiped you mouth and got out if the restroom. While walking out,you saw Bakugo. "Oh hey Bakugo!" You said. He didn't said a word but pinned you to the wall. This took you by surprise and....
