That's the thing about being Demi or Ace, we don't have a community.
Gay men, lesbian women, trans and non-binary folks hate us in droves just like the red hat wearing trump supporter at our peace rally, And it always confuses me because, like, aren't we what you want from your significant other?
Attention without sex, we'll give it to you in truck loads. The need to feel beautiful without sex being attached as a label, trust me we see you in no other way than just beautiful. Gorgeous. Handsome. Etc.
"All he/she/they want me for is sex", let me prescribe you a sexuality preference. Still want sex in a relationship just not as much? Get yourself a Demisexual. Yes they'll want to have sex with you, but you'll have complete assurance that their love for you doesn't just come from sex but also your amazing and beautiful personality.
Want a relationship with no sex at all? Well first of all, you may either be asexual..or a nun of some religion, but get yourself an asexual human! They won't want sex at all, just laughter and fun dates and cuddle time and just pure simple love.
That's what always confuses me about people who say Demi sexuality or asexuality don't exist or don't belong, we are the humans you want most out of your relationships you're just to blind to see it.
