This year with the awards, I have made it much simpler in terms of getting rid of the categories and making it a fair chance for everyone to make it into the final 5. However, I would really appreciate it if you all did read through the rules and requirements for entries. I took time out of my day to write them and make them short and very easy to follow. There are quite a few things I am not seeing from entries, and that inclued the following:
-NOT adding the #kiwiawards2020 to the tags of your story
- NOT following ALL of the judges involved
- NOT tagging actual accounts that are active
Please make sure you actually DO THESE STEPS so that you will not be disqualified from the awards.
If you are having a problem with the tags, it is most likely bc you are doing them in upper case. It needs to be lowercase.
ONLY 22 of 40 entries has actually done the hashtag, which means over 20 of you could be dumped from participating in the awards
If your story HAS NOT been added to the offical Kiwi Styles Awards reading list of entries, that means you HAVE NOT met all of the requirements and you need to go back through and recheck
I genuinely want as many people to be involved as possible, but you need to work with the judges and I and make sure you do follow all of the rules, especially when it comes to following the judges because they are dedicating their time to this awards, and need some sort of "payment"
