I had just put down Harmony mine and Tommy's baby girl when I walked into the living and started cleaning up her toys. She came into this world on February 14 the greatest Valentine's gift for Tommy and I. Yet he still bought me a beautiful Amethyst necklace and told me " you birthing Harmony is my gift." 

Ten months later here we are, still learning new things about Harmony. We got the parenting down. Well hope to, it's still new even after we got used to the late nights and all. Tommy has been absent for four months of it to get help sobering up so that the drugs would not be part of Harmony's life.

"Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue has died"

I looked at the tv and seen them show a picture of Nikki with his birth year and this year.

"NO" I cried as I dropped down to the floor

"Misty baby, what is it?" Tommy asked running to me from down the hall.

I just sat there curled in a ball and cried.

"He died of an overdose" they continued to say

" Oh God" Tommy said

"Tommy he can't be gone" I cried

he turned the tv off and picked me up and held me.

"I am sorry baby," he said as I cried harder in his arms.

The phone started to ring

"Stay right here ok"

I nodded as he went to pick up the phone.

"What, are you serious?"

I looked over at him

"Yes great thank you," he said then hung up and came back to me

"Baby, he isn't dead"

"You're lying"

He shook his head

"No that was the hospital they said that they brought him back after injecting him with two adrenaline shots."

I looked at him and smiled

"He is alive baby" he repeated

I hugged him and he lifted me up off the ground and hugged me.

I was so happy.

"I need to see him, Tommy,"  I tell him

"They said he checked out, so you go over to his house I will stay with Harmony."

I nodded and wiped my eyes then kissed him before I left.
