chapter 6

It has been a few weeks since I left Tommy, I mean he couldn't just expect me to forgive him within a second after he shattered my heart. I do keep in contact with Nikki as I promised him I would, I met Sharise who Vince met when they all went to a mud wrestling place. She and I hit it off as friends right off, and I was happy that she is making Vince happy.

Since last talking to Tommy I heard he was dating a woman named Heather which I am happy for him, glad he moved it.

I have been too busy with work and this sickness that I have dealt with for a while now.

"Alright Nikki I will see you tomorrow," I told him as I hung up after we promised to have a day just us like old times.

I groaned before I got up and took off towards the bathroom and puked my guts out again. I think I have been food poisoned, which threw off my monthly. So that is what I have been treating this sickness as.

I heard my phone going off so I quickly washed my mouth and hands before I went to answer the phone but was to late so my answering machine got it.

"Hey Misty it's Tommy, I just wanted to call and ask you to come to my wedding, I am marrying Heather," he said as he continued to give the date, time, and location of where it was to take place.

I dropped to the floor and cried.  I know I was happy that he moved on but I always wanted to be the first Mrs. Tommy Bass. I never knew this was gonna happen, I should have guessed knowing that Tommy is in love so easily.

I gathered myself up off the floor and went to wash my face before I turned in for the night. I hardly slept that night. I just couldn't stop thinking of how he wants me at his wedding. Like that is a smack in the face and punch in the gut.
