Rode trip to the beach :)

(Calum's Pov)
"Hey y/n when are we gonna go to Santa Monica" Calum said.
(Readers POV)
I replied "let's go today the sun is out and the weather says it's gonna get up to 85 degrees hot." 

We started packing to go to Santa Monica while packing we kept talking about what we were gonna do at the beach and if we would go to the pier and if the beach would be packed with people.

We got into the car together and started listening to the radio. Suddenly one of his songs with 5sos came on.

It was Amnesia that started playing we both started to sing the song.

I asked him "who do you think about when singing this song"

he replied "my ex girlfriend" and proceeded to talk about her and how she hurt him but he was still kind of hung up on her but into some other female at the time.

(Readers POV)
I was kind of upset that he brought her up but I couldn't show it because I was the one to bring up the topic.

We carried on with our car ride and I decided to use the aux cord and started playing more songs by 5sos.

I told him I was very proud of how far he's made it and how all his family must be very proud of him.

He seemed to be happy when I was complementing him and he seemed to also get a bit shy his cheeks got kind of red. We started to get closer to the beach and he told me he's happy we are finally going to beach cause he's been wanting to go with me for the longest but didn't want to come off as clingy. I told him "you shouldn't ever worry about coming off as clingy to me it makes you seem charming."
