The beach with Calum

(Calum's POV)
"Y/n we finally arrived to the beach today it's gonna be a hella fun day !!" Calum said.

(Readers POV)
I replied "YESSS it's been so long since I've been to The beach and last time it was so boring because my friends didn't want to get into the water."

He said "don't worry about that we'll do anything you want to do today." I felt really happy when he said that because he had a big smile on his face and seemed to genuinely mean it.

I asked him if we can go to the beach first and then go to the pier later on once it is night. He told me "yes I told you anything you want today."

We started walking across all the sand to the beach he asked me "where do you wanna sit" "over there kind of near the lifeguards are."

We finally settled down and placed our blankets down. "Calum can you put sunscreen on my back pleaseee" he said "y/n I thought you already put on your sunscreen like I said so you don't get burnt"

I replied "I did but I couldn't reach my back and there's no point in putting it on before we got here" "well you're kinda right okay turn around let me make sure I get you all good so you don't get burnt"

"Alright all done y/n , now let's go inside the water" he told me "okay okay yay finally, let's run in to the water like we are in a cheesy movie about a couple" "hahah yes okay let's go"

We grabbed each other's hand and started running as if we were a couple. We were laughing and joking. I felt lowkey happy that we had gotten this close and we don't feel weird joking around like this.

We got into the water the waves pushing us and everything. We decided to swim under the waves and try to jump above them.

We got really close to each other and decided to go sit on the sand where the water is barley splashing you. I said "Calum today's actually being really fun" he said "yeah y/n we should do this more often"

As the time started passing I started to get a bit tired of being in the water we decided to go sit by our towels on the dry sand. I didn't know if Calum liked me or not but I decided to move my towel closer to his and laid down next to him.

As I laid next to him he didn't seem to think it was weird. He put his arm around me and I felt so happy. I felt I had butterflies in my stomach , I was pretty sure my cheeks got as pink as possible.

We laid there for a while waiting for the sunset. We weren't talking much but it didn't matter it felt like the best vibe I've felt before.
