Chapter 4

We walked inside the carnival, there were lots of amazing rides and booths.

"See you later? Steak house? BYE!" Damean said and rushed to the roller coaster with Cassey laughing with excitement.
Now it's just me... and... this guy.
"Where to? Sweety?" I glared at him. "Shut your mouth Atlas!" I said.
He giggled and raised a brow at me, I turned my back at him and walked towards a dart booth. "I just asked..." He muttered in confusion what's wrong with calling me sweety then followed to where I was.

"You pro at this?" I asked him. He smirked and paid 1 dollar for 3 dart pins. "Oh I'll show you how it's done!"

Yeah... he... uhmm... he was good... unfortunately...

15mins later.

"Let me try that again hehe?" He told me.
"Oh quit it Atlas, hahaha you wasted 10 dollars already! Let me play." I shook my head while smiling, he then crunched his brows. I darted each balloons that contains a paper with a price written on it. I won 2 keychains and 4 free tickets for a ferris wheel ride. Maybe I'll go ask Cassey and Damean to ride it with us.

I looked at him, and there he was... a shocked Atlas. I smirked and patted his back. "Keep practicing man... keep practicing..." he shook his head and started walking again.
We went from booth to booth winning kiddy prizes.

"Wait here." Atlas said. So I did waited standing beside the pond. 10 minutes later he came back with 2 corn dogs and 2 shakes.
"Here you go! It's the least I can offer."
I took the food he offered and we sat on a stool in the table area. "What else can we do?" I asked. He looked at my way sipping his shake. "Dunno, I just found out I'm no good at carnival games..." He said and giggled.
"We can ride the ferris wheel if you like? I mean we won tickets before, back at the dart booth." He nodded as an answer then bit his lip.

After we finished our food we were on our way to the ferris wheel when Dani ran towards me. "Daemen! Hahaha." Dani squealed, "Dani? I thought you have..."
"Yeah, hahaha but I'm here now. Btw I'd like you to meet..." he gestured over a guy about Atlas's height. "This is Jerome. Jerome meet Daemen and Atlas." Jerome reached out his hand for a hand shake. Well me and Atlas are friendly guys so why not.

"Oh is he a family or a friend?" I asked. She laughed and shook her head. "No way hahaha he's my boyfriend."

Wait..... I can't comprehend. B- Boyfriend? B O Y F R I E N D!? What the hell is she talking about?!

"Hahaha cool didn't know you have one!" I nudged her shoulders.
"Yeah Jerome is my suitor, I mean the one and only suitor." Jerome laughed and pulled Dani close to him.
"Jerome here was courting me for 3 years then I answered him last 2 days..." Dani hugged Jerome guy infront of us.

I was... totally spacing out when Atlas grabbed me by my shoulders and said..."Oh see you later! We still have some things to do hahaha BYE!"
"Wait... there's something--" Dani was about to tell me something but Atlas pulled me away, so I waved goodbye to Dani. "See you around." I shouted out to her.
And Atlas shouted to them, "Bye Dani we'll see you at school."
"Wait!" Dani shouted...But it's too late we already blended in the crowd.

We stopped in an area where there's small amount of people.
"Why'd you pull me bro!?" Atlas giggled. "Duh you looked dumbfounded back there Im here to save my sweety."
"Not funny Atlas." I said seriously.
He stopped and silence filled the air, but then he spoke. "Let's go?" He smiled.
I looked at him and I looked back to the ferris wheel. "Yeah... this day should be fun. WHO CARES ABOUT JEROME!" I shouted.
Atlas laughed, "That's it, who cares about Jeremy!"

"No dude it's Jerome... hahahaha"

"Jeremiah, yeah whatever."

"Hahaha yeah whatever stupid." I giggled.
