Jaspers POV

My brother and I had come tonight to find our mate. We have been to other choosing ceremony's but have yet to find her. Jason stands next to me in the waiting room we both share the same feeling of anxiety that our mate might or might not be here tonight.

We are both 19 years old and will inherit the throne when we find our mate. But that's not the only reason we want to find her, ever since we shifted our wolves have told us about the beauty and wonderfulness of our mate. we have been waiting five years to find her. Both my brother and I can't wait to shower her with love and affection and to have her stand as our equal and Luna of the werewolf race. Lately though our hope of finding her has dwindled and we are less and less sure that we will.

Jason looks over at me and asks "what if she's not here tonight Jaz, what if we never find her?" I understand his anxiety, we have already been to six other choosing a and had no luck. I look at Jasper and reply " then we'll keep looking, but we need to stay positive that we will find her tonight."

"My wolf is agitated Jaz do you think that means something?" I think a moment before replying, " Maybe, my wolf is agitated as well Jase. Perhaps this is the ceremony where we will find her."

We both turn as we hear the bell signifying the beginning of the ceremony. both Jason and I had agreed to wait to be the last males to go, as to ad void the swarm of girls claiming to be our mate. Trust me that is not a fun experience. The first male enters the room, and now it's just a waiting game.
