Chapter 3: Settling In
"Awww Bloody hell!!!" a man with an afro screamed at the smoking oven. I could barely breathe with the thick cloud of smoke. Worse was the fact I was now covered in black ash along with the whole kitchen.
"bard roy, must we continue this endless cycle?" a certain butler said as he walked into battlefield of the kitchen.
"Ya Ya, I know, shoulda 'ave waited for it ta cook instead of usin' a blow torch." the cook said as he put away they dangerous weapon in his hand.
"What exactly happened here?" I managed to spit out through my coughing fit.
"Uh, well, I torched tha meat, but I left tha bottle of lighter fluid on tha counter behind it. So it 'aught up in flames." He said rubbing the back of his neck.
"Clean this up immediately and leave preparations for dinner to me," Sebastian said as he brushed off the ash off of a dinning cart, "now, I have to give the young master his lunch, so please no more explosions. As for you Miss. Casandra, if you could assist Finny in the garden." the all to cocky demon said as he walked out the door with the dinning cart. What did he have to smile about? I quickly walked out of the kitchen and headed on my way to the garden because I didn't feel like helping that dumbfounded idiot clean up the kitchen. Soon enough I emerged into the plush green fields of the garden. It as quite beautiful but wreaked of the disturbing smell of that twisted butler. But, the garden also had a smell of ........ fire?
"No! Pluto, come back here!" the blonde haired gardener screamed at a giant white fluff of a demon dog. A demon dog? Sebastian isn't even trying to hide his demonisty is he? The giant demon dog spewed fire all over the green fields destroying them in a instant. I had to stop this before that butler came to discipline him, and I couldn't witness another encounter of the servants looking up to a demon for guidance. I brought a hand to my mouth and whistled. In no time at all, I was greeted with the familiar bark of my Beelzebub. I scratched his head and then pulled his head into my hands. I looked him right in the eye and gave him his order.
"Stop the demon dog."
Beelzebub gave a low growl accepting his order. He swiftly ran towards the so called Pluto. Bub planted himself right in front of the raging beast. It looked down at bub and gave a low growl. Bub held his stance and gave a menacing bark. of course to us people, it only sounded like a bark, but to Pluto it would sound like the very pit of hell opening up and dragging him down into the man eating flames. Pluto soon ran backwards towards Finny and hid behind him whimpering.
"Whats wrong pluto?" he asked the cowering dog. Beelzebub then trotted over to me happy that he pleased his master.
"Good boy." I said petting the hellish dog. I suddenly felt a familiar hand grip my shoulder, but this time the nails dug in deep drawing blood.
"Don't you ever do that again." He hissed in my ear.
"Why? I thought the all powerful crow was afraid of nothing." I smirked at him. He only returned the favour with a deathly scowl. I was interrupted from my small victory by the giant demon dog racing towards me. He stopped right in front of me and growled menacingly.
"Jeez, this dog doesn't understand his place very well does he?" I said as I walked up to the beast with a smirk. It stared me down, looking deep into my eyes. I pulled its face closer to my mine and bit down on his nose. The dog whimpered and stepped back a few paces.
"Why did you bite him!" Finny screeched at me in confusion.
"Well, in the animal world you would bite a dog nose to show superiority over it, so it will respect you."
