The Prince | Bambi

The group walks back to their homes together. All worn out and wet from today's adventure.

"Gosh (Y/n) I didn't know you could be so rough," Bambi spoke softly as his eyes drooped a little.

"Well, what can you say, I am a pretty competitive person." She smirks.

The sun hasn't set yet meaning (Y/n) doesn't have to go home yet.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

I and Bambi were walking alone together in comforting silence neither of us has no idea what to say.

I stop in my track and turn to look at Bambi. She opens her mouth to talk to him only to be interrupted when Bambi, who was not paying attention, bumps into her. Both of their faces very close together, almost kissing.

"Oh umm, sorry." Bambi awkwardly chuckles and quickly backs away from her.

(Y/n) stood there in shock, the words silently blew away from her agape mouth. Her legs started to wobble and her cheeks started to get hot. That was probably the most intimacy she's ever had with someone, other than her mom of course.  

It's- It's fine." (Y/n) had managed to say. 

'Surely he never meant to do that. But what if it was intentional?'

(Y/n) tried to shake the thought off and continued to walk ahead, Bambi sluggishly following behind.

Bambi's P.O.V

The scene that just happened wouldn't go away. I didn't mean for that to happen.

I saw (Y/n) start to walk I head of me as I slowly begin to follow her. My head was down and my cheeks burned.

Surely I can sleep this off and forget about this tomorrow, right?

No one's P.O.V

As they walked further, the sun was setting even lower. Bambi had finally gained enough confidence to catch up with (Y/n) and walk next to her. But he kept his distance.

(Y/n) pauses and turns to look over at the male,

"So, uh, I had a fun time today." She smiles at him, affection evident in her (e/c) eyes.

Bambi smiles back at her, "I had a fun time as well. Maybe we should do this again sometime."

She laughs softly, "we should."

(Y/n) walks closer to Bambi and steals a quick kiss on his cheek, "thank you." She turns and runs in the direction of her and her mother's home.

The male was left astonished and stared at the space the female left behind.

"I-It was an n-no problem..."

I can't believe I just did that...

Hues of orange, pink, yellow, and purple color the sky as the burning, titanic red-orange star gets closer to the mouth of the horizon, sending a warm and content feeling through her body.

A movie of thoughts course through her head, as much as she tries to forget the intimate moment, she can't seem to. As time goes on, the worse it gets.

'Bambi, Bambi, Bambi...' Keeps repeating in her head like a broken record.

"I wonder what happened that's got ya thinkin' so hard," A soft and soothing voice breaks her out of her trance.

She blinks rapidly then looks down to see the familiar big feminine eyes and black body with the classic white stripe outlining his back and tail,

"Flower! I-I'm sorry I didn't see you there." She lets out an awkward giggle.

The small skunk smiles softly, "I've been calling your name for a little bit but you were so deep in your head you couldn't hear me. Mind telling me what happened?" He perches himself on a nearby rock to help me get a better view of him.

"O-Oh no Flower I don't think you want to hear it. It's...a little embarrassing." She can feel heat burning her furry cheeks as the thought pops up again.

"Oh trust me, I think I do."
