"Morning buddy" Jake said rubbing his eyes walking down the stairs,
"Morning" Colby said, he has slept on the couch again, it was the 3rd time he's done that this week.
"Still sleeping on the couch? C'mon now you have a bed upstairs" Jake said going into the kitchen preparing some cereal,
"I just hope Sam returns and hope he returns in the night" Colby said getting up to make himself something to eat.
"Hopefully, I'm forgetting how he looks it's been that long" Jake said looking down, sadness in his eyes,
"I know, I've started praying and now it's turned into a routine to do it everyday" Colby said placing bread into the toaster, he seemed use to the pain he felt in the beginning.
As the boys finished breakfast and headed to their rooms and got dressed for the day ahead, Colby messaged Brennen to hang out.
Colby hadn't seen Brennen in a while so he was quite happy, until he got a message off one of the private investigators he hired to find anything about Sam.
The message read,
"Colby, I've done some digging and found something that could possibly find Sam! So when you gave me Sams card information I check when the last time it had been used. And it turns out it was yesterday night, me and the people you hired are trying to trace were it was used" Colby's faced dropped reading the message, he ran out of his room and banged on Jakes door,
"Jake! Jake it's important, you better have pants on cause I'm coming in" he shouted before opening the door, thinking it was locked he fell onto the floor.
"Look look!" Colby stretched across the floor and passed Jake his phone to read the message, Colby had a huge grin on his face.
Jake took the phone, in joggers and read the texts messages between the private investigator and Colby, his mouth opened and he dropped the phone.
"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!" Jake said placing his hands behind his head and collapsing onto his bed in shock.
"Holy shit!" He continued.
Colby jumped up after laying on the floor for around 5 minutes.
"We might find Sam! And bring him home!" Colby saying as if Sam was a alive,
"But..I don't want to get your hopes up, but what if he's not alive, I mean yes don't think that way but we're talking about someone who's been missing for months" Jake said being serious which was a rare occasion but it was true, what if Sam wasn't alive.
