○●Long Chapter!●○
Jimin sighed for the millionth time that day as the last bell rang, signalling the end of the school. He had barely managed to get through the entire day, whispers and thoughts of people around him following him wherever he went. Honestly, he kind of regretted doing what he did this morning, even more so when he remembered that he had to attend detention with that asshole on the very first day of his school.
Jimin had originally planned to keep to open up and make friends and become somewhat more social, l ike normal teenagers did, despite him being neither of those two things. But after the fiasco with Jungkook, he just preferred to refrain from any contact with the students, increasing the air of mystery around him. In every period, he'd try to get in early and claim the spot in a far off corner, desperately wanting all eyes away from him.
It was just like how he'd thought his first day would go, only shittier.
So, the ending bell was supposed to be a sort of silent comfort for Jimin, but no, instead he had to meet the cause of all this bullshittery. Mr. Kwon had informed him earlier in his gym class, (which by the way was one of the only highlights of the day as Jimin had totally impressed everyone with his impressive physique and jaw-dropping agility, thanks to him being a vampire) that he'd have to go over to the third room on the second floor for his detention, which happened to be the school's dance studio, with practicing mirror and wooden flooring and everything. He actually smiled when he entered the room, his mind flooding with memories.
Jimin had been a contemporary ballet dancer before his turning, the best one amongst his fellow dancers, the favourite of his teacher. His movements used to be graceful, precise and utterly breath-taking. Jimin had originally taken up dancing as an outlet to deal with the stress of his studies and social life. He'd tried up different things, like drawing and sports, but nothing really came close to the comfort and peacefulness he felt as he moved his body effortlessly to the rhythm of soft music wafting through the air.
Those days were far behind him though, he doubted if he even remembered the basic steps to a routine. He sighed and looked down at his feet, closing his eyes to shut all the memories that could break him.
"So you did show up after all, huh puny boy?" An unpleasantly familiar voice called out from behind Jimin, only a hint of spite in his tone.
Jimin scoffed and opened his eyes, turning around to find the bad boy sitting carelessly on one of the chairs, legs spread wide as he raised an eyebrow at Jimin.
"Could say the same about you, asshole, given the fact that you have a record for not obeying anyone." Jimin spoke clearly, folding his hands against his chest, maintaining a stern eye contact with the taller.
Jungkook rolled his eyes, trying to remain mad at the shorter, but still not being able to stop the smirk that grew on his lips.
"Oh well, anyone that's not my girlfriend at least. Now quit being so fussy, you're gonna pop a vein frowning that hard."
Jimin clenched his jaw, comeback on the tip of his tongue but he kept quiet, remembering his agenda of not pissing the boy further. Instead he just sighed, walking over near the mirrored wall and sat down on the floor against it, one leg spreading straight while the other folded, his hands resting on the knees.
"Look, Jungkook, about whatever I did this morning, I did it just to protect my roommate okay? I have nothing personal against you. Just...stay away from Taehyung, he clearly doesn't need you."
Jungkook glared at him, but the smirk still decorated his lips, before shrugging nonchalantly. "I was just playing around. Why do you care about him so much anyway, hm? You guys getting it on inside that house of yours?"
