"W-what?" Jimin uttered in a slightly alarmed voice, his face scrunched up in a mix of confusion and suspicion.
Jimin didn't know if he was hearing it right. Did Jungkook really ask that? His eyes widened in surprise as he raised an eyebrow. Was the bad boy up to something? He couldn't get a reading of his face as it was unreadable, the taller being exceptionally good at keeping his expressions at bay.
Jungkook shrugged before the lightest of a smile graced his lips. He took out his lighter and began flinging it on and off, focusing his pupils on the tinge of the flame that it produced.
"You heard me, Park." He spared him a mischievous look before he deadpanned, turning his attention back to his little lighter.
Jimin huffed, seemingly tired of the bad boy and his unpredictability. But deep down, he knew he was annoyed at not being able to read Jungkook's mind due to his thoughts being as clouded as the sky outside and randomly, at that stupid, flickering lighter of his.
"Why do you wanna hang out with me? I don't really plan to be a victim of the wrath of hundreds of jealous girls and boys. And as far as I remember, I thought you had a girlfriend?"
Jungkook just chuckled a little, pausing his activity for a moment and looking at Jimin, giving him a small, knowing smile. Yes, he did have a girlfriend, a sizzling hot and jaw-droppingly curvy girl at that. But the thing with Jungkook was, he always 'dated' sluts so that he wouldn't have to feel guilty when he got bored of them. He'd tried to make an exception giving Taehyung a chance, but the boy was too clingy and emotional for his own good. And Jungkook had already made it clear that he wouldn't stay for long with him, and Taehyung at the time had, although half-heartedly, compiled to the decision. Somehow, he ended up falling for Jungkook and blaming him for leading him on when he didn't reciprocate, which was complete bullshit to the bad boy. But, of course he didn't plan to breath a word of this to Jimin, because he wasn't planning to fuck and fled Jimin. He just wanted to know what made the shorter boy so incredibly interesting. He genuinely just wanted to get to know him.
"I do. But I'm not like, asking you to suck me, am I? It's a genuine request." Jungkook looked up at him, winked at him before looking down again.
Jimin's cheeks puffed up as he looked closely at the bad boy, noticing the way the flame of the lighter come closer to the skin of his fingers everytime he flicked that thing. He knew he shouldn't give two shits if this boy had a knack for torturing himself, but that just wasn't Jimin. He always cared for people's well-being, even if they didn't deserve it. So he gave the younger a disapproving look, his eyebrows furrowed.
"Knock it off. You're gonna burn yourself messing around with that thing." He muttered in a small voice, which immediately caught the other's attention.
Jungkook smirked and closed the lighter, holding up his hands, a smug look on his face. "Watch out, Mr.Park, are you going soft on me?"
Jimin scoffed, preferring to answer with silence instead of words as the younger eyed him. He brought his knees up to his chest and hugged them, peering back at the younger. Jimin noticed how defined Jungkook's jawline was. But his eyes contrasted his manly features. They were big and round and filled with an almost child-like curiosity. He could see a little star, a literal star in his eye, and Jimin couldn't help but smile a little, rolling his eyes.
"You're really one annoying ass bitch, you know that?"
Jungkook chuckled, his eyes crinkling and bunny teeth showing, and Jimin had to do a double take to make sure that this was the same person that he met this morning. When JungKook settled down, he smiled back at the vampire.
"So I've been told. But...you still didn't answer my question." He raised an eyebrow, and Jimin just shrugged, the smile still tugging at his lips.
"Guess you're not that bad. And don't get the wrong idea, I'm like this with everyone."
Jungkook touched his cheek with his tongue, looking intently at the younger. "Uh huh, or you're just denying that I'm probably the most interesting person at this school. I may be an asshole, but I'm sure as heck ain't boring."
Jimin rolled his eyes playfully, deciding not to answer yet again, allowing the younger to get whatever idea that pleased him.
That irritated Jungkook a little but he decided to give up, because something about Jimin's stance made it clear he wasn't going to get a satisfying reply out of him anyway. Instead he looked around and smirked, getting up to his feet and walking towards the door. Jimin noticed that and blinked in confusion, raising an eyebrow at the younger.
"Um...what do you think you're doing, Jungkook?"
Jungkook didn't look back, instead slowly opened the door and tucked his head outside, turning his head from side to side. "Trying to get us out of here. You don't really plan on staying here for a whole of two hours, are you?"
Jimin's nose scrunched up in confusion before he realized what the younger was talking about. Of course, he was trying to escape detention. What else could he expect from the bad boy? But Jimin just scoffed and stood up, now leaning against the mirrored wall, hands folded. His overall stance made it clear that the older of the two didn't like the idea in the slightest. He didn't want to get into any more trouble that he was already in.
"I do, actually. And I think it would be better if you did too." He looked up and gave Jungkook a pointed look, to which the other just groaned.
"Oh come on, I know you're bored out of your mind too. They don't come to check up on us anyway. I'm going with OR without you, but do you really wanna spend the next two hours sitting around here? I pegged you for a little more adventurous type." He looked back at him, a playful glint in his eyes, even though his face was serious.
Jimin narrowed his eyes as he glanced at the younger, only receiving a wink in response, immediately realizing that the bad boy was serious. He rolled his eyes, before huffing and folding his arms, looking away from Jungkook's glinting eyes. He almost gave that a thought before popping back to his original decision.
"Well, guess I'm fine being boring then." He muttered under his breath.
Jungkook tilted his head, before rolling his eyes. The older was really stubborn, but not more than he was. He wasn't used to hearing 'No', and Jimin wasn't about to change that. So he smirked and leaned against the door frame, looking at the older.
"Is that so? Too bad. Guess I'll just have to ask Taehyung instead then. It gets boring without company, you know?"
That pushed Jimin's buttons as he let out an exasperated sigh, turning his gaze upwards towards Jungkook, conveying his utter dislike of the younger. That's exactly what Jungkook wanted. He knew he could swing Jimin on his finger as long as he pulled the Taehyung card. And boy was he going to misuse that power. Jimin couldn't really do anything about it unless he wanted to declare it to the world that he was a fucking vampire, so he just scoffed and walked over to Jungkook.
"Jesus, I really want to bash your face in, I swear. Where the fuck do you wanna go?"
Jimin voice was stern, his head fuming at the absurd situation he'd gotten himself in. But at least Taehyung wouldn't have to deal with this bully anymore. That's the least he could do for him.
Jungkook almost chuckled at the older's frustration, patting the Jimin's cheek mockingly. He loved how the older was defiant, and how he wa n't afraid of him. That was something that made him more interesting and definately more attractive than all of the people he'd meet till date. He gave Jimin his classic bunny smile before putting a finger to his lips.
"It's a secret, Park. You'll just have to come with me to find out!" And with that he slipped outside the dance studio.
Jimin sighed and prayed to whatever God that listened to not let him get caught. It was going to be a long day for sure. But between you and me, Jimin was a bit excited, curious to know where the younger had to show him. But of course, he scoffed and followed Jungkook, stuffing his hands in his pockets.
Goddamnit, Jeon Jungkook.
