-- Lauren's POV --

Lauren's eyes glanced over to her empty arms that didn't have any bruises, the only ones were on her shoulders and the marks on her wrists. She looked up at Camila's brown eyes that reflected concern for her ex-bandmate. She breathed in, her breath was taken away when she felt a warm touch onto her cheek. "Lauren, what happened?" She asked with a soft but concerned voice. Lauren couldn't feel anything, she didn't know what to do. There was only two choices, the truth or a lie. She didn't want to lie, but it was the only good choice. Deep in her heart, it was killing her to lie. Her heart started to beat rapidly, hesitation in her words, she didn't know how to respond. A lie would end up to two, two more to cover the other two. Her heart felt like it was going to break over the smallest thing.

"I- Cam- I..." Lauren breathed in and out trying to gain the confidence to tell the truth. She looked at Camila who was standing patiently, her eyes glancing over her body carefully. "Lauren, just please, just tell me." Camila stated stepping towards the taller female.

Lauren looked down at Camila while her heart beat rapidly. "Ty, h-he, hit me..." She mumbled the words out of her wanted to be close mouth. She felt a sudden grab, as her body was wrapped in Camila's warm body, her arms tightly around Lauren's.

"Lauren, it'll be alright. You can tell me anything..." Camila said, her voice calm and reassuring, which made Lauren confused. Why wasn't she threatening to kill Ty? Then she remembered, she'd have to get Dinah to kill him. Her hand rubbed Lauren's back gently in circles, she could feel her heartbeat beating a thousand times a second.

Lauren relaxed her body, tempting to let her heartbeat down. "I didn't want you to worry." She stated. "I didn't want our first day to be about me, but you." Her words felt like knives to Camila.

"I don't care about me, when I saw that bruise. I was worried, you brought relief, but aren't you two still together?" She asked, "Wait, wait, oh hell no. Are you two going to the Valentine's Party together?"

Lauren nodded her head. "But, whenever we're at a party we just take pictures, and then we do our own thing. It doesn't concern us, and yes, we are." She hated being with Ty, a growl escaped from her mouth feeling like she was in a cage everyday, but whenever she was with him. It felt like the cage got smaller to where she couldn't even move. Being with Camila made her feel alive like the cage wasn't there anymore, she could move and do whatever she wanted.

Camila broke the hug, the daylight slowly going down, the skies colors were beautiful. The clouds were floating along the lines of the deep pink sky that had slight swirls of orange and yellow. Her eyes watched the sky with a smile, "It's so beautiful, and it doesn't try." She said her words so calm and soft, it felt like magic to Lauren. It calmed her soul that felt like a ravage beast in it.

Her glowing emerald eyes staring deeply in the sky that held beauty. "It is.... Everything blooms over time. Either years, hours, or months." She stated breathing in, letting out a sigh. "I need to get you home, your mom will be worried sick about you..." Lauren stated, she didn't want to let Camila go, she wanted to take her home and hold her through the long night that awaited, her heart felt like it was breaking, but it was healed so quickly by the smile on Camila's face.

"Come on, let's go. Mom would love to have you." She pulled Lauren towards the matte black car rather quickly leaving all questions behind.

-- AT HOME --

Lauren parked the car carefully in the driveway, looking out the window staring at the mansion like house. "You sure, your mom wants me to stay overnight?" She asked as she got out of her car, rubbing the hood slightly.

"Lauren, I'm positive. Don't worry, I don't want you to be alone while you're dating that-" She stopped her words not wanting to offend the older girl. "Come on." She started walking down the path that lead to the wooden stairs.

Lauren followed behind her, as the door got opened. A lady with slightly tanned skin standing there with a bright and beautiful smile looking at both of them. "Hi, darling. Oh, hello Lauren." Her words were clear and cheerful. Something that Lauren wasn't ever used to, either they were damp and sad, or slurred and stuttered.

"Hey, Mrs. Cabello." Lauren replied as Camila hugged her mom tightly. She stood a few feet back away from them not wanting to get too close.

"I'm not going to bite, come on in." Sinhu chuckled as she waited for Lauren.

Lauren stepped towards Sinhu getting stopped. She felt arms around her, "You can call me Sinu, like the old days." She heard the older lady say, she hugged back tightly missing the affection that she always got by the family. "I've missed you, Lauren. We need your sarcasm again. You're the only one who can get through Alejandro!"

Lauren smiled showing her teeth that was aligned so perfectly. "Oh? I am? Sounds like I'm going have to teach Sofi something." Her words coming out raspy and beautiful.

"I agree you need to. She's in the bed though. You two have come at a pretty late hour, and it's school soo, yeah!" The woman's words weren't a yell, but she shown cheerfulness towards the young female. "Now let's go inside, it's starting to get colder by the second." She said as she went back into the warm home that she owned.

Lauren was behind her as she looked around, astonished by the beautiful decor. It's obviously been upgraded since the last time she resided there, "Wow, it's beautiful here.. " She stated, her voice represented the amazement. She glanced over at the male who was asleep in a laid back chair with a newspaper over his face, a small laugh escaped.

"Camila's-" Sinhu couldn't finish as she saw Lauren who was already heading down to Camila's room. "She remembers that..." She was surprised by the woman.

The Green eyed girl opened the door, closing it behind her seeing Camila sitting on her white bed. "Hey.." Her words were soft. "What am I going wear to sleep?" She asked with a smile.

Camila thrown a peach colored shirt at her, and gray BOOTY shorts. "Heh, I already have you covered. They'll fit perfectly." She chuckled, turning her body to give the female privacy changing.

"It's totally not like you haven't seen me in a bra and underwear before." Lauren scoffed playfully, as she slid the clothing on which did in fact fit so well.

Camila's cheeks turned bright red. "W-well, I didn't -" She lied down onto the bed holding her face into the pillow.  Her body felt a cold touch as she realized Lauren was laying beside of her, her arm wrapped around her as they lied in the bed. "Good night, Camz..." Lauren said her arm tightening around the girl's stomach.

"Goodnight, Lolo...." Camila responded as Lauren fell asleep softly. "I love you..." She whispered as she, herself, fell asleep
