"No! Please stop! I'm sorry! No!"

"Sarah wake up!" Harry shook her hard, and she sat up quickly breathing hard with tears in her eyes.

Harry threw his arms around her and she buried her head into his shirt and cried. She couldn't stop shaking.

"It's okay." Harry soothed.

He rubbed her back with his hand and hugged her tighter.

When she finally managed to calm down she pulled back.

"I'm sorry."

He used his thumb to wipe away a tear.

"You didn't do anything wrong."

"But he did."

Without any explanation she jumped up and ran out of the room.

"Sarah!" He ran after her.

He found her kneeling infront of Comet's empty stall with her head in her hands. It broke his heart to see her so upset, especially when he didn't know why.

"Sarah?" He asked cautiously.

He reached for her, but she jumped up and ran towards the old oak tree in the corner of the pasture. He ran after her. When she reached the grave she kneeled down once again.

"Sarah? What's going on?"

She just shook head.

"Sarah answer me!" He screamed.

"No! I'm sorry! Please don't hurt me!" She sheilded her face with her hands.

Realizing what she just said she dropped her hands and stared up at Harry with a horrified expression.

Harry just stared at her in disbelief.

"I would never hurt you."

She just cried even more, and muttered apologies.

"Hey come on, lets go get a hotel. I think we need to talk about some things."

She nodded her head and he picked her up and carried her to her car. Luckily she still had her keys in her pocket so she handed them to him. He put his arm around her and she scooted closer to him.

He glanced at her every once in a while. She had her eyes closed, but every few minutes she would flinch, or make a sound. She had both arms wrapped around his right arm, and her head as resting agaisnt his shoulder.

When he finally pulled into the parking lot he turned to her.

"Sarah?"

Her eyes were red and puffy from crying and he felt sorry for her. He opened his door, but she didn't let go of his arm.

He sighed and closed the door again.

"What is it?"

She let go and climbed out of the car, so he did the same.

"Room for two please."

Luckily the lady at the desk didn't recognize him, and she handed him their keycards.

"Thanks."

He took Sarah's hand and they got into the elevator. He pressed he gold number seven, and the doors closed.

When they reached the room he slid the keycard into the slot and opened the door.

"Go sit on the couch, I'll be right back."

He went to the bathroom and when he came back Sarah was staring down at her phone with a blank expression.

"Is everything alright?"

She quickly turned off the screen, and shoved it back into her pocket.

"Okay so tell me what's going on."

He sat in the chair infront of her.

"It's a long story." She muttered.

"Well I have all the time in the world." He countered

"You have to sware you won't tell anyone."

"I sware."

"There was a reason me and my old boyfriend broke up. There was a reason I never dated anyone after him, that is until I met you."

He watched intently as she twisted up her face in disgust.

"I'll start from the beggining I guess." She paused and glanced up to Harry.

"His name was Bryan. Bryan Johnson. Every girl wanted to date him. He was cute, funny, sweet, and popular, or at least that's what eveyone thought. In reality he's a heartless cruel jerk."

Harry could see that she was angry.

"When he asked me out, I said yes not knowing what I was getting myself into. For the first week everything went fine, it was just like a normal relationship, until that day."

She shuddered recalling the memory.

"He smiled an evil smile at me and then slapped me across the face. It was then when I realized why all his past girlfriends were always covered in bruises."

Harry couldn't believe what he was hearing, and he was becoming mad just thinking about someone hitting Sarah.

"He would pin me to the ground and hit me. Everytime I said ot did something he didn't like, he'd torture me in some way. He threated to do worse if I told anyone. I didn't believe him so I told Susane. He found out, and when he came over after school he threw me onto the ground, and demanded that I call Susane over. I did because he had my arm pinned behind my back and it really hurt."

Harry was now sitting on the edge of his seat.

"He locked me in a closet, and I heard her scream. He threated to kill us if we told anyone. Susane left, and he grabbed me by the throat and pushed me up agaisnt a wall. I couldn't breathe. He just kept squeezing harder. I tried to scream, but no sound came out."

She had started crying again.

"He let go at the last minute, and I fell to the floor gasping for air. He kicked my side and I fell onto my back. Then he kicked me in the head and I blacked out."

She pushed some hair behind her shoulder.

"That was the last time I saw him. Later Susane told me she called the cops, and they found him standing over me. They arrested him and took me to the hospital, but I was scarred. We were sixteen, which meant he would be getting out in two years when he turned eighteen. I was afraid todate ayone else after that. In fact I kept to myself and din't trust anyone except Susane."

She looked out of the small hotel window.

"She's a really great friend. Everyday when I finally was alone after he had beaten me, I would go ride comet. He was my escape. Whenever I rode him I forgot about everything that had happened that day. I fogot about Bryan. The day they arrested him was the happiest day of my life."

Harry went and sat next to her and held her hand.

"He turned eighteen two weeks ago."

Harry froze in his spot.

"What?"

She kept going.

"He called me the next day. I didn't answer so he left a voice mail. He said he was going to find me and when he did I was going to pay for making him go to jail."

"I won't let him hurt you again. I promise."

He hugged her, but she wasn't through.

"Whenever you jumped on Niall and started punching him, you reminded me of him." Harry pulled back.

"I'm sorry."

"Bryan used to tellme what to wear, who to hang out with, and what to do. So when you said I couldn't talk to Niall and you yelledt me, it was like it was him sitting there on the bed and not you."

"I'm so sorry. I didn't know."

"Because I didn't want you to know. I didn't want anyone to know."
