Chapter 4

Robin's POV

We met the rest of the guys on the nearest bridge. "You okay, Princess?" I asked

"Yeah, just don't want to leave her and don't call me that Bird Boy!" she replied with a worried expression plastered on her face.

"Haha sorry, she'll be fine she's with Jason and Finn" I replied holding her shoulders in my hands for reassurance. 

"Huh" she sighed manoeuvring her shoulders backward and relaxing, closing here eyes, exhaling and then opening her eyes "I'm ready" she stated with determination in her eyes.

We all jumped down and ran into the darkness of the woods. Bella was the first to silence us all.

"Shh" she whispered closing her eyes and smelling the air "There!" she pointed. It was a Speckled Moonacre Doe. Opening her eyes finally she took off her bow and pulled an arrow from her quiver and loaded it. She stood up, breathed out quietly, pulled the horsetail string back to her cheek and with her next exhale she released the arrow from her grip. Whoosh! it flew through the air between the trees and bullseye! She hit her target.

"Wow" all the boys jaws dropped including mine.

"D-did you know she could do that?" Ricky asked looking towards me.

"I had no idea" I stated with my jaw still dropped. My girlfriend was AWESOME!

"And that's how you do that" I heard Bella's smug voice say as she walked over to her prize.

She pulled the arrow from the Doe's chest and put it back in her quiver. Bella and I kept hunting whilst Ricky and Jc stayed with all our catches. We caught a couple of rabbits, birds and hairs. We soon started heading back to the Tree Huts as Bella started to worry about the child. Ricky and Jc carried the Doe and Bella and I carried the rest of our catches. We had hunted and got back in just under an hour, by now it was midnight. We put all our catches in the spare hut and Bella and I proceeded to Jason and Finn's hut. There she was wrapped up in blankets next to a little white kitten.

"She's been asleep the whole time you were gone, Princess" Finn spoke

"So she was no trouble?" Bella asked

"None at all!" Jason replied

Bella's POV

She looked so peaceful and comfortable I didn't want to move her but, she would be staying in with Robin and I overnight so her safety would be in my hands.

•~Three Hours Later~•

Robin awoke from his sleep. "Bella?" He moaned in his adorable sleepy voice.

"Yes?" I replied tiredly

"Are you still up with that Child?" he spoke with a bit of annoyance in his voice

"I can't let anyone or anything hurt her!" I exclaimed

"Let me take her for a while" Robin offered

I shook my head "No" I said softly

"You know I won't hurt her, don't you?" He questioned

"Of course but, I don't want her to leave my side" I replied

"But you need to sleep" he whispered

I gave the child to Robin reluctantly and got into the bed, it was now around three in the morning. My head hit the pillow and I immediately dozed off. I woke up to sunlight bursting through the windows and Robin around my waist. "Hmm" I moaned waking up. "THE BABY!" I screamed shaking Robin trying to wake him. "ROBIN! WHERE'S THE CHILD?!" I screamed at him.

"Calm down, Bells. She's with Jason" Robin soothed

I soon calmed down but still rushed out of bed and rushed to get dressed. I then realised that I still had my clothes on from yesterday; I shot out of the door, dropping my fresh clothes on the way out and into Jason and Finn's room. The other boys were all in there and they were tossing her up in the air playfully. She was screaming and crying and after my stress out this morning I ran in screaming "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" I raged "SHE'S NOT ENJOYING IT! GIVE ME THE CHILD!" I demanded 

"And if I don't?" Ricky said still tossing the child

I simply kicked him in the chest, grabbed the child, ran and jumped off of the bridge into the woods. I whistled for Starlight, when she appeared I placed the child onto her back and eased her. The boys all appeared on the bridge. "Don't come any closer!" I comanded pulling out my dagger that I had in my left boot. The boys backed off and Robin emerged from our hut.

"What's with all the commotion?" he questioned

"Your Princess"  Ricky mocked "has gone crazy" he continued. 

Robin jumped down and neared me "Bella, it's okay. Just calm down and give me the child" he soothed

"Don't come any closer, Robin. I don't want to hurt you" I said shaken

"Bella, are you o-" he stopped

I fell to the floor and all I remember is blackness.

Robin's POV

As she dropped to the floor I caught her head and the boys jumped down. "Go get all the supplies!" I demanded. I handed Bella to Ricky when I returned after I had retrieved her bow, quiver and the rest our supplies. I put them over myself and mounted Starlight, Ricky passed her to me and then lifted the child and interlocked her in Bella's arms. "Meet me back at the Castle" I commanded

"Of course, we shall be right behind you Robin!" Ricky said faithfully.

•~Thirty Minutes Later~•

We arrived at the DeNoir Castle gates. They opened and we trotted inside, I shouted for my Father. As my Father arrived he took the child and gave her to my younger sister Penelope who took her to the nursery. "She's out of it, Father" I spoke in worry.

"Take her to rest, I shall ride and inform her family that she will be staying with us for a couple of days" Coeur demanded

"Of course" I replied dismounting off of Starlight. Before I ran to my room with Bella I told one of the stable boys, Jack, to take Starlight to our best stable and make her feel at home.
