I'm obsessed with the live action Aladdin okay? don't judge me

"You know you're fucking the prince right?"

Thomas jumped as a girl appeared behind him, crossing her arms and leaning against the door frame. "You scared the shit out of me Teresa!"

The girl shrugged. "Sorry, I just needed you to be aware that you're literally jamming your dick into our prince."

Thomas felt his face twist up in confusion. "What are you talking about?"

"That boy...what's his name? Newt?"

Thomas smiled softly then. Yes, Newt. He met Newt in the streets a few weeks ago, he was cute and blonde and had warm brown eyes. Thomas was kinda smitten. He made every excuse to see him though and they'd spent a lot of time together. He even once almost built up the courage to kiss him. "What about Newt?"

Teresa shook her head, smacking her palm to her forehead. "You're so stupid sometimes Tom."

"Did you come up here just to confuse me or are you going to tell me what you're talking about?"

"You really think someone's mom would name them Newt? Come on Tom. He never takes off that stupid baggy shirt and he's always strangly clean. Also, you don't find it the least bit weird that he always has to leave at certain times?"

"You think Newt is prince Issac?"

Teresa nodded. "He is prince Issac."

"And I'm not fucking him!" Thomas felt his face heating up again. "We just...hangout."

Teresa rolled her eyes. "Okay, whatever, but still. Newt is prince Issac, end of story."

Thomas looked at her in complete and utter disbelief. "No, you're wrong he-he wouldn't-" Thomas frowned as he trailed off.

Teresa's face softened. "Tom, all because he's royalty doesn't make him incapable of loving you."

Thomas scoffed. "Please, if he was actually a prince, he wouldn't even look in my direction."

"Stop that." Teresa crossed her arms tighter across her chest. "He's clearly into you...I'm just saying, be careful. I don't want you to get hurt when he can't see you anymore."

"Okay," Thomas said softly as he looked down at his lap. He hated when Teresa was right.

"I'll leave you alone."

"Hey T?"

"Yeah Tom?"

"Do you think if Newt was born poor too, me and him might have worked out?"

Teresa smiled sadly at her brother. "I think you too are perfect for each other."

"He's uh-" Thomas looked out the window. "Uh, he's waiting for me."

"Be careful," Teresa said before she turned and left.

Thomas let out a breath, running his fingers through his hair before hopping out the window and onto the street.

Newt and he always met in the same place, a small secluded place on the outskirts of the city. Thomas got there late this time, skidding to a halt when he saw the blonde boy.

"You're late," the boy smirked as he pushed off the wall.

Thomas felt his heart skip a beat. "Yeah sorry-my sister-"

Newt waved his hand to silence him. "Doesn't matter, you're here now."

Thomas hesitated. "C-can I ask you something?"
