Chapter 3

A few days later....

Readers POV:

Yusei walked into his room and immediately jumped onto the bed, finally feeling the comfort of his own bed. Rocky jumped on the bed with him and laid next to him close enough for Yusei to know where he was.

Yusei laid on his bed petting Rocky until he felt sleep taking over him.

Yusei's POV:

I was falling, not off the bridge just falling into more and more darkness. (Btw Yusei has sight only in his dreams) I looked around only to find darkness. I thought no one was going to help me. I was alone, again. I relaxed my body and just kept falling. Until I heard screaming, bloodcurdling screams of pain. I forcefully slap my hands onto my ears to try and stop the sound, I didn't realize but I started screaming as well, but it didn't stop the sound......

I shot up on the bed, sweat dripping from my face. I was breathing heavily. I felt Rocky licking my face ignoring all the sweat that is on my face. I slowed my breathing and laid back down on my bed. I heard Kalu's voice speak after a few moments, "do you want me to get Jack?" I shook my head, " I don't wanna worry him." Kalu growled softly, "but he told you if anything happens to tell him." I rolled my eyes, "it was just a nightmare, nothing big."

Jack's POV:

Crow and I were sitting on the couch watching tv quietly, so we wouldn't wake Yusei, until I heard a scream from upstairs, I thought it was just Yusei's tv until I heard it again. I ran up the stairs and opened his door to find Kalu and Yusei on the bed talking. Kalu looked over to me, " you hear him scream too?" I nodded and walked to the bed and sat next to Yusei. He knew I was there, but he didn't look in my direction, "Yus? What happened?" He didn't answer, he just stared forward. I brushed my hand through his hair, "Yus?" He looked in my direction and and shifted my body so he could lay his head on my chest. When he did he spoke softly, "I was alone. There was no one to help me." Tears started falling down his face. I pullled him closer to me, "you're not alone I'm right here." I heard the door close and noticed Kalu left the room. I laid down on my side with Yusei pressed into my chest. I lay my chin on my head, until I felt Yusei move his face in front of mine. I smile and press my lips against his. He broke the kiss and then buried his face into my shoulder falling asleep again.

Yusei's POV:

I woke up feelings arms hugging me close. I remember that I'm with Jack. I wiggle out of his arms without waking him up and carefully move to my door while feeling my way around. I make it out of my room quietly closing the door. I move to the wall and sit down my back against it.

   Sit there for a few minutes until I hear my dog walk towards me. "Yusei? What are you doing out here?" I stare blankly towards the voice of Kalu, " I just- just wanted some air." " you do look a little pale you should just go outside." I nodded and he helped me outside then went back inside to give me some space.

Many thoughts piled in:

Jack doesn't love you he's pretending because you're depressed!

Why would he pretend?

No one would love someone like me, I'm blind, helpless, and a nobody!

  Yusei reached into his pocket and grabbed a razor blade, I held it in my hand for a sec before I got a good grip on it. I held it to my arm and slowly sliced a cut on my arm. I felt the blood trickling down from the cut.

  Making two more cuts on my arm I drop the razor and placed my hand on my arm to stop the bleeding.

   I stood up to hopefully sneak inside and get on my jacket to hide my scars but I felt someone grab me and place a rag over my mouth and then everything feel silent.
