THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW"HOW DID YOU GUYS become a group?" Kiyomi asked, plopping a pistachio into her month. Her eyes traveled to her two best friends who rested on her bed. She swirled around in her chair, waiting for their response. Chan rested his head on his hands, feeling the girl's soft pillow comforting his hands.
"Well you know me. I've always had a passion for music. I wanted to make a group of musicians. So I put up posters in middle school. Slowly, one by one, each member joined. I always had a spot Felix and Jeongin was the last to join when I felt that we had the perfect amount of people."
Felix nodded in agreement, sitting up straight and folding his legs under her blanket. "Now this mate has taken it upon himself to make us a debut." He chuckled in English, receiving a playful hit from Chan who had a wide smile in his face. "Yah. He said and I quote: "If we do well, we can eat food." This kid I swear..." Chan looked at him and shook his head. Kiyomi picked out a grape jelly from her new container full of them. As the fruity flavor lingered on her tongue, a thought came to her mind.
"How did Hyunjin join? I mean here you're telling me to stay away but he's the one in your group."
Felix looked over at the older male in curiosity because he didn't know either. Chan rubbed his lips together, trying to think of that moment. "I think it was a few years ago. I was practicing with Jisung and Changbin. Before Felix came. Oddly enough, he came to our room because he thought it was the dance club. Which was rightfully so because Minho was dancing in the corner. We said it wasn't but he was welcome to dance here if he wanted to. So he did. Minho and him got along pretty well. Then he asked us what we were actually doing if we weren't dancers. I told him that we wanted to be singers or idols to be more specific. And that set off a new path for him. The next day he asked to join."
"Has he ever smiled? I don't see him smiling often."
"At the start he did. The one day he just stopped. I wondered if it was because he lost his passion. It turned out that he told his parents about his dreams. The fact they didn't support it saddened him. He still has the same passion, he just wishes they would help me achieve his dream."
Kiyomi pressed her lips tightly. If only they knew the truth. But it wasn't her place to tell, right? It wasn't her secret that he was getting abused. Couldn't she tell them so they could help? Still... it wouldn't come out of her mouth. She wondered if they would ever know.

"How's school going, kiddo?" Kiyomi's father asked, taking a spoonful of rice and vegetables into his mouth. Her parents had miraculously gotten the evening off as they had cleared a day's worth of surgeries. It was weird to see them home but she cherished it. The female nodded slowly with a smile. "It's fine. Especially with Felix and Chan are there. Their friends take care of me too." Her father smiled lightly at her response, glad she was getting used to Korea again.
"Found any boys to turn into boyfriends yet?" Her mother waggled her eyebrows, making Kiyomi choke on her food. Her father chuckled, patting her back and giving her a cup of water for her coughing fit. She shook her head at her mother who smiled evilly. "There's no one." Her heart skipped a beat when she said that. Was she lying? Or was did it turn out that her heart knew something before she did?

Hyunjin finished drying his hands in the bathroom, leaving it to only be met by a familiar face.
"Can we talk?"
He looked at Eunbin blankly, shoving his hands in his pockets. A sigh escaped her lips, "Hyunjin-ah, do you... do you think there's a chance we can get back together. You were lying back then, right?" Her voice came out small and soft. He shook his head in disappointment, rolling his eyes and attempting to walk away. But the female stopped him by seizing his wrist. Hyunjin's eyes trailed to his wrist, then to the girl. He broke his hand out of her grip. "Stop trying." His rough voice spoke. Eunbin knitted her brows together, shaking her head softly: "What do you mean? Why should I when you're so close to me?"
"I like someone else." He lied, knowing very well that he was hurting this girl even more than he did. Don't get me wrong, he felt bad. Of course he did, he was human. But to him, his pain hurt way more than a simple heartbreak. Hyunjin felt his heart skip a beat. He internally furrowed his brows. He was sure he wasn't lying. He didn't like anyone, right? Eunbin widened her eyes at his answer, opening her mouth hesitantly. "Who?"
"Why should I tell you?"
And with that Hyunjin went up the stairs that lead to the rooftop, leaving a dumbfounded Eunbin near the male bathrooms. His sneakers took each step slowly as his mind raced with several thoughts. Soon, his mind was interrupted by an angelic voice. He opened the door slightly. Was someone already up here? This was his only hiding spot other than the convenience store.
"You got me. Nan neoreul bomyeo kkumeul kkweo. I got you. Chireuk gatdeon bamdeul sok. Gateun mareul hago isseotteon geoya urin. (You got me. I look at you and dream. I got you. In the dark nights. We saw each other's light. We were saying the same things.)"
Hyunjin recognized the song as BTS' Mikrokosmos. He had never heard her sing but he didn't realize her voice would be so pure and wholesome. He watched her with a soft smile appearing on his face. He tried with all of his face muscles to take it away but he kept smiling, he couldn't help himself. He enjoyed her voice and how it sounded. Kiyomi stopped singing, chewing on a grape jelly as she thought to herself out loud. "What should I do? Someone give me a sign." She sighed quietly. Hyunjin titled his head, confused as to what she was talking about.
"Give me a sign to help him. How can I help him?"
Who is she talking about? He thought to himself.
"How can I help Hyunjin from getting hurt by his parents?"
Hyunjin froze. His blood ran cold as he stared at Kiyomi who had her eyes closed. She knows. She knows the truth.
