THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW"THE RECIPE CALLS FOR three eggs, not two, Hyunjin." Kiyomi sighed, resting her hands in her hips. The male turned his head to the girl, rolling his eyes before he spoke. "It doesn't matter. We'll just use extra oil or add some yogurt to stabilize it." She scrunched her nose before narrowing her eyes on her boyfriend. The couple were attempting to make a fresh chocolate cake for a hang out session with the rest of the group. Hyunjin said it was like their second date.
Hyunjin added a few spoons of oil, mixing it with a whisk at a decent speed. Flour and cocoa powder were sieved into the large bowl, baking powder and soda added along too. Kiyomi watched the batter become into a smooth brown in no time. She chuckled lightly, starting to prepare the frosting as he put the batter into a lined circular tin. "You're pretty good at baking you know." She said, folding in some sugar with butter. The boy smiled cheekily, his dimples showing when he scooped the cake batter with his clean finger. "I know." His voice was nonchalant, distracting her from what was about to happen. "Don't get too full of yourself, Hyunjin. It can go wrong in n—" Unable to finish her sentence, she gasped upon the feeling of wetness on the tip of her nose. "Yah... Hwang Hyunjin. Remove it."
Her voice lowered in an octave, a deadly aura coming from her. Hyunjin cocked his brows daringly, "I don't want to." He poked his tongue out, putting his finger in his mouth to remove any batter. Kiyomi raised her hand, swiping the brown thick liquid off her nose. Quickly she put it on his cheek, running away in her house slippers. If her parents were here right now, they would be amused with the situation. The male gaped, almost instantly going after her. He chased her around her living room, catching up with her after a few minutes. His arms stretched out, cupping her waist and pulling her close to him. Her back rested on his chest as Hyunjin's head was nuzzled into her collarbone. "I could say you would regret doing that but I don't really care. I have fun with you and that's all that matters."
Kiyomi internally shivered at his voice that lingered near her ear. "Y-Yah, let me go." She squirmed in his grip. He smiled softly, "Is Minnie over here nervous?" She rolled her eyes at that nickname, wriggling in the male's arms. "We need to put the cake in the oven to make it in time." Begrudgingly, Hyunjin let go of her, intertwining his hands with hers as he lead her to the kitchen to finish making the cake.
"I can't believe we've finished all of that. Now we just need to cool the cake and frost it." Kiyomi cheered, dusting her hands over. Her eyes looked over the clean kitchen, then to her boyfriend. She sighed upon seeing his face. Using a wet cloth, she gently wiped off the dried cake batter on his cheek. Hyunjin held her gaze, tilting his head to the side. "Why are you staring at me like that?" He asked, pressing his plump lips on a line. "Nothing. I'm just wondering if you're okay. You know with your parents and all..." She mumbled quietly, retracting her hand as she looked at the floor.
"Hey. I'm fine. I know you don't believe me that much but I really mean it when I say that you've helped me."

"Hey! No touching!" Hyunjin swatted Felix and Jeongin's lingering hands that neared the chocolate frosted cake. The two boys frowned, looking over to Kiyomi with puppy eyes. "Just be patient." She said with a cheeky smile. The whole group was at her house, running about and what not. It was a public holiday and they were making her best use of it.
Kiyomi walked over to Chan, leaving the two boys to bicker with Hyunjin. "How's he adjusting?" She queried, helping him set out the table. Woojin joined them, sensing a dull mood when the Australian male sighed. "We welcomed him well and he's getting along but I don't know.. he just seems a bit distant." He shrugged his shoulders, smiling softly at the two. Woojin's eyes trailed over the table as he spoke: "He just needs time. It wasn't like he was going to get over everything overnight. Things like this just take a little longer." The girl nodded in agreement, "I'm sure he'll be adjusted soon. Chan, you have great hospitality. Don't doubt yourself."
Chan nodded slowly, smiling gratefully as he set out the last table. "You're right. It'll be fine."
The sound of the television erupted into the air, everyone's eyes averting the to the black screen. "Yesterday, two parents were arrested outside of their homes for the abuse of their child. Hwang Jihoon and Hwang Minhee are the parents of a young teenage son, who we will keep unknown. For almost three years they had abused their son, beating and wounding him. The parents, however, are still under investigation as to why they did it in the first place. It was only three days ago when we had another abusive child case on Na Jaemin..."
The room grew dead silent. Their eyes went off the reporter and onto Hyunjin who stood still in his spot. "Don't look at me like that, guys. I need to move on." He smiled widely, distracted as Jeongin grabbed a slice of the cake. "Yah! Give me some." Felix screamed, sending the whole room in chaos. Kiyomi walked near her boyfriend, smiling gently. Hyunjin linked his arm through hers, looking down at her short figure. "Like I said before, don't worry. I'm a strong guy." He winked, attempting to flex him muscles. She groaned, removing her arm and shivering in annoyance. Pick up lines and cheesy things like this were definitely not her thing.
It had only been around forty minutes since the whole group was in her house. They quickly got bored. Until the youngest male's voice popped up.
"Guys, lets have a Minecraft date!"
Now everyone was on their phones, either re-downloading the app, opening it or lending it to someone else. "I swear to god, if anyone pushes me into lava... I will cut out your organs." Kiyomi muttered, nearing a pool of lava. The diamonds were so close yet so far. "What the fuck?! Who did that?!" Chan winced at her words, "Language!" Seungmin and Hyunjin watched as the girl chased Jisung, Minho and Changbin around the house. They look so innocent don't they? Yet they still pushed her.
Hyunjin smiled to himself. He was finally free from his past. He was saved by an 'angel'. And the more the girl throughout about it, the poem he gave her... was about him and her. Kiyomi saved the 'devil' like she wanted to.
That's the end of the story.
They did not stay away from each other, they stuck side by side instead.
And Hyunjin was no longer a sad boy.
