The Final Task

It's a rainy Saturday evening - just my favorite day or night where miraculously I, an event planner,  don't have any events to worry about handling tomorrow. Sure, I've had a lot of days like this where I can relax from a weeklong fun but tiring work but today was just different. I couldn't quite describe what I'm feeling at this exact moment because this was only just a dream I've been fantasising years ago. But here I am now sitting on a beanbag, in my dream home library room that is decorated with fairy lights and lantern like lights, wearing my bear designed pajamas, and I've never felt genuinely happier in my entire life. I set aside the book that I was reading and pulled out my notebook and flipped it to the page of my personal checklist. With my ring-beared hand, I added something to my list and ticked it off.

"Dinner's ready!"

"I'll be there in a minute!" I stood up and exited the door of my dream room. I always smiled whenever food is ready but this time, I smiled because for the first time in my life, I was not scared of how something I didn't plan turned out to be.
