This is an idea I've had for a while. I don't have a name for this character yet, but I'd like an uncommon unisex name.
The idea for this one is the world used to be extremely fertile due to magical creatures called nagas. They were worshipped because of their abilities, basically treated as gods or royalty. But because most nagas have a scary appearance, humans began to wonder if their powers were all lies to be worshipped, and thus drove them away, hunting them until almost extinction. The nagas were furious over this and cursed the lands to be in forever famine. Centuries later, a small cheerful naga who has always been curious about the human world decided to venture out, bringing fertility wherever it went. This caused an uproar with the other nagas and they would refuse to mate with this small one, hoping he'd die out. So now, he was cast out into the cursed world. But he wasn't fully distraught, for nagas could also breed with humans or humanoids. So, he set out to find a nice place to be able to attract humans to him and be able to mate with them. Join him as he finds a mate and lives his life with this person, who loves him for who he is, and helps him save the dying world.
