B A I L E Y I didn't see River since that day.
It has been three days and the waters were drowning me to the bottom. I had no idea that a boy who wore black jacket too much could be the someone I have the urge to see the first when I wake up. Those three days has been hell.
Three days ago, mum decided to stay numb until my last breath. Just kidding. Well, it feels like she decided to stay forever silent until I leave the house. I have no idea why she was so distant with me. Is it because I slapped Olive to teach a valuable lesson or is it because I didn't go with her to her best friend's 50th so much of a Barbie kinda-birthday because I decided helping comes before enjoying?
On second thought, I think it's everything since the day I born.
Olive started staying with her friends. I didn't see any clothes at her cupboard so I guess she decided not to see my face anymore. I didn't care.
I heard mum and dad fighting a multiple times at their bedroom. Dad defended me while mum defended Olive.
To be honest, this house definitely didn't felt like a dream house.
I couldn't talk to River until I find out what's really going on. He is hiding something. That's for sure. But what is it? Don't know.
First, I gotta have a plan. Second, gather some clues.
"Drake is going out with Hermione." Naomi said, gathering the top books from the shelf.
Naomi and I decided to do some extra works for...well, extra points. I was already behind at history and Naomi was behind...almost everything. So, to add some few percents to our next result, we gotta do some goods towards school.
Naomi wanted to clean the gym, which means the fastest way to get to Drake. I have no idea what she sees in him. If she's a fan of high leveled chest and ginormous and strong thighs then I guess it makes sense. The worst is that Drake's got a bad reputation. He literally shattered 80% girls at Hilton except me, obviously. And Naomi. But we decided to clean the library because Drake only works out at gym when there's a game coming up. Otherwise, he does this at home. No wonder.
And, Drake going out with Hermione is a huge news.
"President going out with hulk? That's unbelievable." I said, stacking some new books. "It's all over the school. Everyone thinks Hermione got her hook..stuck." "Got her hook stuck?" I said with a questioning vibe.
And then I knew what it exactly meant.
"What? Of course not." "Then how do you explain this?" "I don't know. But it's definitely not that. Hermione decided to stay nun until marrying a rich person who has 45 cars and 100 mansions." "Really?" Naomi asked, with puppy eyes but her brown brow raised up. "Everyone knows this, Nao."
