As I entered the classroom, i felt eyes peering at me but I brushed it away. I ran my fingers through my blond straight hair and I sat down at the back of the classroom. People turned their heads and stared. I ignored them and took out all my books. I pushed my bag under the table and took out my pencil case out. I watched as a short, puny girl with blond hair entered the classroom. She had a big, circled black ash on her left cheek and on her right cheek a scar. I stared as she sat down beside me. She didn't talk, look or even glance at anyone, all she did was read her book silently. Some people sniggered and pointed and some people whispered to each other. She then put her book down and stuffed it in her bag. She stared at my direction and half smiled. I smiled back at her. "Hello, my name is Annabell" I introduced myself. She held her hand out and I shook it. "My name is Annie" she replied. I nodded my head and she smiled.
The blond haired teacher walked inside and nodded his head for silence. He sat down and examined the room. Then he stopped at Annie and narrowed his eyes. "What happened to your cheek?" He questioned. Annie shrugged her shoulders and a few people chuckled. The teacher lifted his head as to say carry on.
