A pair of tall men in Los Angeles Police Department uniforms walked into the last foster home Beretta Knight resided in, walking toward the desk, where a young blonde woman was reading. She looked up and her eyes widened in surprise as she pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. She set the book aside and stood, leading them into the office.
"Officer Taylor and Officer Gates, how nice to see you," she smiled welcomingly, taking a seat and gesturing for them to do the same. "What can I do for you today?"
Officer Taylor briefly shared the smile before sitting opposite her, Gates following suit. He glanced at the name plate on the desk. "Amanda, you were here while Beretta Ruby Knight resided here, correct?" He waited for her nod of confirmation before continuing. "We need Knight's information history. The entire file, start to finish."

Hey guys!! It's me, Hunter, and I am BACK with an original story for you! So, first, I have a few things to go over with you all, following my ridiculous absence.
First, I would like to say thank you to all of you who read my books and who continue to do so after my break.
