End Game

"Max, do you know what's the name of that girl." I said as I pointed to the girl who's sitting right in front of us.

"I forgot her name but I think she's a BSEd student. Bakit type mo?" Sabi niya at saka tumingin na rin sa babaeng sinasabi ko.

I don't really know there's something about the girl that got me interested. Her straight hair that gaves her more of the good chick look. Her flawless skin which I think a lot of girls in our school envy. Her face is extremely beautiful and I don't think she knows it.

"Her name is Ana Mae Virtucio, BSEd Major in English. I asked one of my colleague which happens one of her bestfriend." Napatango lang ako sa sinabi ni Max.

Tiningnan ko lang si Ana habang tumatawa kasama ang mga kaklase niya. She's really beautiful and I think I need to remind her that.

"You really like that girl ha." Max said with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Sino? Si Hipparchus may nagugustuhan na babae? What about Yaniza?" Tila naguguluhang tanong pa ni Raf, our band mate.

"Dude, magkaibigan lang sila ni Yaniza. Tingin mo kung gusto yun ni Hipparchus makakaporma pa yung mga lalaki dun." I should thanks Max about that.

Hindi ko naman alam kung bakit may mga balitang kumakalat sa university na kami daw ni Yaniza. Siguradong magiging incest yun, she's not just a family friend which everyone knows. She's my second degree cousin which still implies that she's still my cousin.

"So who's the unlucky girl that she likes?" Matapos kong marinig ang sinabi ni Raf binatukan ko na ito. Walang galang tong tao na'to, I thought we're friends.

"Ana Mae, that's her name. So will the two of you shut up and let's just focus on our practice. " Sabi ko sa kanila at sinimulan na ang practice namin.

Simula nung araw na napansin ko si Ana hindi ko magawang hindi siya tignan mula sa malayo. Everytime she's with her friends she's the one that shines the most.

I thought this crush will last in a month but I think I'm wrong. It's been a year and still here I am watching her from a far. I must be crazy for liking her to much that I might do everything just to have her attention.

Nagpunta ako sa building nang Education students para mag-abang sa block chairman nila. Nang makita ko ang block chairman nila na naglalakad mag-isa hindi na ako nag-atubili pang lapitan ito.

"Hi, uhm can I have a favor?" Tila nagulat pa ito sa biglang pagsulpot ko.

"Yes? What can I do for you?" naguguluhang sabi nito.

"Uhm, Can I have the number of Ana Mae Virtucio? I just needed to give her book back but I can't catch her free time." What a liar Eman, pretty bad liar.

"Okay, just don't give her number to other people. Pili lang yung nakakaalam ng number niya. Mauna na ako, I need to do something." Sabi nito sa akin. Bago siya umalis nag pasalamat muna ako sa kanya.

Hindi mawala ang ngiti sa labi ko. Dang, ba't ko naman ipamimigay yung number niya sa iba eh I just want her for my self.

And that started how I pursue her without her knowing it. I started to send her random messages without expecting me getting any reply from her. Until she replied and changes everything.

Until I got to know her more and I just woke up one day realizing that what I'm feeling towards her isn't crush anymore. I'm falling for her as each day pass.
