Nobody knows what exactly happened to cause my sister to lose control that day. We can theorize, but we can't know. Not even professionals could recreate what happened. There's just too little evidence.
What we do know is that we were on the interstate, something caused us to crash into the concrete median, and that a semi truck was involved.
And beyond that, we know we were incredibly lucky. One of us should have brain damage, one should be permanently handicapped, and one should be dead. Despite that, all of us are alive and well to this day.
