In more than one episode, Daniel Jackson pulls and holds his sleeves over his hands. BUT. That is not Daniel's personality. That is, indeed, Michael's quirk. In multiple interviews and special features on the DVD disks, Michael Shanks, in absolute fact, pulls his sleeves over his hands and holds them there.
IN CONCLUSION: Michael Shanks is my teddy bear and my soft boi and no one can take him away from me or change that fact. (Also Daniel is Jack's soft baby boy if you didn't know that already).
