Bucky had to admit that him and Dr. Foster had become much more friendly. Well, particularly him. He responded to everything she said, and she was slowly starting to earn his trust.
Bucky walked to Dr. Fosters door, a little anxiety filling his chest. Today they'd be going to an amusement park. Six Flags was the name of it.
She had told him the day before to wear something comfortable and warm, since it'd be getting into the low 50s. This was their biggest step. Sure, they'd had some pretty deep conversations, but going to an amusement park was something totally different.
Nevertheless, Bucky showed up in black jeans and a tight navy fleece, one sleeve cut off for his arm. It was a bold choice, but he knew he was going to have to get comfortable with it.
He opened her door was greeted with no Teddy, unlike usual.
"I left Teddy at home, if you were wondering." Dr. Foster arose from her desk. She wore a striped sweater tucked into tight ripped jeans and some white nike shoes.
"Ready to go?" She smiled, adjusting the flyaways from her hair that was up in a bun.
"If you are." He sighed.
Bucky had to admit, she was gorgeous. Like, the type of pretty where you'd stop walking on a street just to look at her.
"Indeed I am." She seemed giddy, like going to an amusement park was turning her back into a little kid.
They walked out, and headed to her car.
"We're only going to be there for a couple of hours or so, maybe 3 or 4." She spoke and he nodded.
Bucky wasn't surprised that her car was a Range Rover, he was aware that therapists made a good amount of money.
Her car smelled like her office, clean and fresh.
"Nice car." He looked at her.
"Thanks." She smiled at him. The awkwardness in the air was obvious to the both of them.
"You like music?" She asked, turning on some heat as they drove off. She was a fast driver, he liked it.
"Sure, from the 40s." He smirked and caused her to giggle a little bit.
"Oh, I've never thought about that. Well, then let's talk. You excited for roller coasters?" She interrogated.
"I guess. I have no idea what to expect." He shrugged.
"Are you afraid of heights?" She glanced over to him.
"I'm not afraid of anything." He said proudly, causing her to chuckle.
"I'll believe it when I see it." She laughed.
