Your kagune is similar to Ken Kaneki from the series. The character won't necessarily fight unless it's needed. You can eat human food, but to have a healthy life, human flesh needs to be consumed.
*Backstory*
The character is a ghoul, to be specific, a one-eyed ghoul. He's an asset to the CCG but doesn't work for them. His (human) father did work for the CCG but was killed during a fight with "Binge-Eater." His (ghoul) mother continued raised him after his father's death, he was taught to be a kind yet confident person. However his mother was hunted down by Aogiri Tree because of her high durability and extreme healing, but she died buying the main character time to escape. He prefers that few people know about his parents. His current guardians are Ken Kaneki and Touka Kirishima. Kaneki has been training him to defend himself against other ghouls. But the CCG requested the main character to be sent to Honnouji Academy, to lay low.
