Alex's POV

I have never been so grateful for my inability to stop myself from putting my foot in it. If I had, I wouldn't have the most gorgeous girlfriend in the world. When George posted on instagram looking for a roommate, I never in a million years though it would be the key to my happiness.

In just two days the nightmares have stopped. The panic attacks, the constant anxiety - gone. The feeling of constant sadness and worthlessness a distant memory. I will do everything in my power to hold onto this girl. My soulmate.

Jess's second merch drop sold out in just eight hours. EIGHT. 4500 items gone at the drop of a hat. So when Will rang an hour ago to let her know that the stock had arrived, I of course went straight to his apartment with Jess to help her package orders.

At the rate she was going, she would need to think about a more effective system soon. Not that us lads and Jess weren't effective, but the drops would get bigger and there was no way I was letting her run herself into the ground like I had on so many occasions.

As we mindlessly package orders singing along to Twenty-One Pilots, I think about how I could help. She would need some sort or warehouse or office space, members of staff. I write a mental note to research it later on, before going down to Will's kitchen to make coffee.

'Hey Will, I need your help' I say as I flick the kettle into life. Will looks up from his laptop, closing the lid and moving across the room to me.

'What's up buddy?'

'I was thinking. There is only so long that we can package and manage all of these orders ourselves' I say, taking a mug from the cupboard. 'Do you know of any warehouse or office spaces that could be viable?'

'I might actually. I know the sidemen bought a massive warehouse, and they don't use half of it' he replies. 'What does Jess think of the idea?'

'I haven't actually said anything. I want to surprise her' I say, keeping my voice low. All of the lads knew that we were a couple.

'Righto lad' he winks. 'I will make some phone calls, meet me in my office in half hour' he calls, heading back up his stairs.

'I have spoke to JJ and he has spoken to the lads. Its yours - or Jess', if you want it' Will says as I sit on his spare chair.

'Wow okay, how much?' I ask. I know it doesn't come cheap.

'He said if we can kit the lads out in mine, yours, Jess's and Georges merch - it's free' Will says smiling.

'Are you serious?' I ask. 'Like actually serious?'

'Yes. And you don't need to worry about staff, they are offering up two of theirs to start off. He said they will pay the first months wages too. Seems they have a soft spot for our Jess' Will laughs. 'Oh also, they are all over at the warehouse now if you want us to go and surprise her?'

I walk into Will's spare room, Jess looking up as soon as I enter.

'Shoes on, we are going out' I say, holding my hand to help pull her up from the floor.

'What, why? I have so much to package' she moans, but standing regardless.

'It is a surprise!' I laugh, dragging her out of the room and down the stairs.
