Carol Danvers (Drabble) - Pride

Carol wanted to stay on earth after Tony's death, she knew the man, not well but she trusted him with her life. She didn't expect to get reunited with Monica either, the girl was fully grown now and was Carol's height. Carol didn't expect however to be met with Monica's daughter, (Y/n). The teenager was wearing a crop top and a pair of shorts, as it had been summer when The Decimation happened. She looked terrified when she was brought to meet the team, well what was left of the team.

Old man Rogers took to Monica and (Y/n) like that. Clint was a bit nervous as he was on his way home, dragging Wanda with him. Wanda took to (Y/n) more than she did with Monica, seeing as she was just a few years older than (Y/n). Peter and Aunt May basically became extended family since Carol basically adopted Peter as her son.

Pepper was a bit nervous to meet what Carol considered her family, not because of race or anything, it was just because Pepper just wanted to live in her wooden house with Morgan, which Morgan fully expected that (Y/n) could fly like their 'Aunt' Carol. James Rhodes and Monica became good friends, seeing as Monica followed in her mother's footsteps and became an Air Force pilot.

Sam let the poor teenagers play with his/Steve's Shield, as the man still didn't think he deserved he handle of Captain America and was seriously considering giving it up to Bucky, if the guy wanted to at least, he wasn't that much of a dick. Bucky barely expected for (Y/n) to be obsessed with his metal arm, possessing knowledge from Hydra in all it could so, since Natasha had released the info years ago when (Y/n) was just a kid barely in her preteens.

T'Challa regretting bringing Monica, Carol, and (Y/n) to Wakanda, seeing as (Y/n) took to Shuri, the two screaming out about old and dead memes since it had been five years. Monica groaned, when she heard 'Road Work Ahead' by the thirtieth time that week.

It was no big surprise when (Y/n) wanted to go to a pride parade with Shuri, who demanded that she go to one since she hoped that would be a decision T'Challa chose to do to connect Wakanda with the world.

Let's just say when (Y/n) and Shuri came back, the two were sunburnt, covered in rainbows and had thirty bags of just flags.
