Peter Parker - WTF pt. 4

May was sitting in the seat next to the bed where Caitlyn lied. Caitlyn was hooked up to multiple IV's sat in her arms. Peter was lying with Caitlyn and was brushing her hair, apologizing to her multiple times. Caitlyn was in a small coma but she was able to breathe and do other bodily functions.

Tony sat in the chair furthest away from the family. He had grown to see Caitlyn and Peter Parker like his own children, even though he's engaged to Virginia "Pepper" Potts. Tony watched them. "I am so sorry, May. I didn't intend for this to happen."

May turned to look at him, glaring. "You got her hurt! This is your fault! You are the worst man alive!"

Peter looked over. "Aunt May, calm down, you're upsetting her."

Peter was right. Caitlyn's heart rate was raised and her arms were tense as she grabbed onto the bed. May turned to grab her hand and kissed it. "I'm sorry, Caitlyn. I'm trying to keep myself calm."

Caitlyn's eyes fluttered as her body calmed down. Peter stepped closer to the two. "Caitlyn, you'll be okay, I promise."

Caitlyn's eyes shot open as she looked at Peter, in fear. She tried to speak but the tube in her throat was only letting her let out garbled noises as Tony ran out to get a nurse. Nurses filled the room, trying to calm down as they took out the tube and checked her wounds. Caitlyn's pulled Tony and May out. The woman smiled softly at the two. "I'm sure you two know that I was the one to initially stitch up Caitlyn." 

May looked the woman in the eyes. "Tell me why it took my niece 3 weeks to wake the hell up!?"

Palmer, the woman looking May back in the eyes. "I'm not her body. She was in a coma that will have a few lingering effects, so if that attitude sticks, I will have Mr. Stark, here, take you home."

May almost slapped her. "If you're going to be a bitch then I will be leaving you alone to wallow in your awards and reputation!" 

May turned around and left to go back into the room Caitlyn was in and smiled at the scene. Peter had Caitlyn in his arms, holding her tightly, humming her favorite song
