After his date last night, Tom had gone home and had the best sleep he had in awhile. He had spent his night with this amazing amazing girl instead of filing paperwork or dealing with people who needed to be dealt with. It was nice to end the day on a positive note for once. He dreamt of Violet and her beautiful smile.

He woke the next morning with a warm feeling in his chest. Knowing his girl was happy and safe in her home brought him a sense of comfort. The only thing that could make it better was if she was asleep next to him. Violet wasn't officially his girl, but it felt like it to him and with maybe a few more dates, she could be. Tom grabbed his phone off his night stand and typed out a quick good morning text to Violet.

Tom: Morning, darling. Hope you slept well.

Tom answered a few emails before he got out of bed. He showered and dressed, ready to start his day. When he walked down to his office Harrison was already there ready to start work. When he saw Tom walk in with a barely noticeable smile on his face, he smirked at his friend.

"What, mate?", Tom asked annoyed by his friend.

"Date went well I see", Harrison smirked.

Tom took his seat in the large chair behind his desk. "It did, yes".

"Good on you, mate. You deserve to be happy".

"Let's get some work done, Haz. We got a shipment coming in soon and I want it to go smoothly this time".

The two mobsters did their paperwork and made a trip down to the warehouse, doing the regular mob work throughout the day. Tom would occasionally look at his phone to see if Violet texted him back, but there was no new messages from her. It was just a good morning text, didn't really need a response, but he would have liked to have heard from her.

He texted her again that night, but still no response. He wasn't too worried about her. She was probably at work or training for the championship coming up. That he was worried about. Tom hated seeing Violet get so beat up. Sure she was a damn good fighter and won all of her non rigged matches, but even just seeing her get hit once was enough to make him angry. The other fighters didn't fight fair. Tom had the normal legal MMA rules in place, but that doesn't mean the fighters follow them. Maybe it'd be different if she fought in a fair league, but he knew was that he hated seeing his girl in danger.

After two days of getting no response from Violet, he decided to just wait until her match the next night to talk to her. He would have John contact her to make sure she's okay, but he's a slime ball and she wouldn't respond to him in the first place. All Tom could do was wait.

Violet received and read all of Tom's texts. When she got the first good morning text she felt herself smile, but it immediately fell when she remember the text from Hank. What does this mean now? Does she have to stop fighting at Nightcrawler and go wherever Hank's place is?

Violet thought that the only reason Tom owned the club now was because Hank was about to get caught by the police and since Tom pretty much owns most of the police he would never get arrested. He must have started a new fight club. That's the only explanation she could think of for why Hank texted her now. She chose to just ignore Hank for now. He didn't give her anything further of where the club is or what she has to do.

Every text after that put her on edge, but seeing as it was Tom every time she just felt guilty. Violet thought about texting him back, but she couldn't make herself do. She couldn't tell him about Hank's threat just yet. This was something she had to handle on her own.

One day, when she was about to leave for work, she opened to the door to a bouquet of red roses. They were already in a vase that probably cost more than her house. Violet knew they were from Tom without looking at the note tucked in between the flowers, which just made her feel even more guilty. The roses were beautiful like always, and smelled heavenly. She put them on the coffee table in the living room deciding the find a better place for them and to read the card after work. She was running late as it was.
