DISCLAIMER: This is the original and first ending that not everyone will be happy with, this doesn't have to be the ending for you, another chapter will be published (same chapter for about 1000 words but different ending) I hope you enjoy it.
Tord and Tom got off the jet, walking to Tord's office. What Tord said kept echoing in Tom's head and he couldn't think. He knew it was the wrong thing to do. He knew he couldn't, he cared far too much for his friends. But Tord made it sound tempting, just take over, nothing less. He could make a world with no corruption, nothing like that. "Tom, can you fetch me the lab reports?" Tord asked. Tom nodded and got up to start walking.
Only five more minutes.
Edd gathered his people and handed them guns, knives, and all sorts of weapons. Making sure everyone was equipped. He turned to Matt, who was right beside him, and gave him a hug for good luck. Matt smiled and hugged him back. It was all or nothing. Edd slipped his mask on and readied his gun.
One minute.
Tom walked back to Tord's office when all of a sudden, the alarm was set off! Tom panicked and hurried to Tord's office, jumping in as fast as he could. Panic all over his face. Tord looked at him, getting up from his desk. "Tom, don't be scared, this happens more often than you think. The resistance is just playing their little games again, I'll handle this." He kissed Tom and walked away, stopping at the door. "Lock the door and don't let anybody in, lemme know if you're in danger." Tord then shut the door, locking it.
Edd shot and kicked whoever got in his or teams way. Soldiers fought to protect the base. Edd went through, making his way towards the office. He was soon kicked in the back, falling to the floor on his stomach. He turned quickly and a foot landed hard on his chest. He looked up, and saw Tord. "It's a real shame that this happens, your color indicates that you're leader of this raid team. Good to know, goodbye!" Tord cocked his gun but only managed to shoot right by Edd's head before being socked in the side by Matt. "Run! Head for the office!" Matt yelled, fighting off Tord the best he could. Edd nodded and fled to the office.
He tried opening the door, but it didn't work, he slammed his body, hoping to break it down. Tom got his gun ready to shoot the intruder on the other side of the door. Edd soon kicked open the door and was met face to face with Tom. Tom cocked the gun and aimed for the head. Edd froze in fear and pulled his mask off. Tom stoped and stepped back, dropping the gun. "Edd! I-!" Tom stuttered. "So nice of you to drop by." Tord said, putting a gun right to Edd's head. "Drop the gun and put your hands in the air, raid leader." Tord said sternly.
Edd dropped his gun and slowly raised his hands. "Good, now call off your men and all of you shoot yourselves. But please do cleanly, it's much less work for me and others." Tord commanded. "No. I'm not doing that. I made a commitment, to good people." Edd said, "shoot me."
Tord cocked the gun and was about to pull the trigger till Tom came and punched him in the cheek. "Don't you fucking dare!" Tom kicked Tord in the balls and grabbed his gun, unloaded it, and threw the amo and gun to opposite ends of the room. Tord felt anger rise and stood up and slapped Tom. Soon, kicked him down, he put his foot on his chest, completely forgetting everything else in the room. "You! You are MY SOLDIER! YOU do not get to do that!" Tord yelled, Tom looked at him, you could see the fear and pissed off expression in his face underneath the goggles.
Edd scanned the office, taking important documents and storing them in his bag, he knew it was wrong to leave Tom like that, but he knew Tord wouldn't do anything that bad. Edd stole everything he could. Tord soon took his foot off of Tom and grabbed him by the collar, dropping him to the floor. He looked at Edd, anger was strong in him. It was radiating off of him, like fire. "You, you! It was always about you!" Tord screamed. Edd was beyond confused. "FUCK YOU! I do not want you here! No more mercy! Goodbye old friend!" Tord soon grabbed Edd by the throat and pinned him on the wall, choking him.
