It was a beautiful summer day. Birds were chirping, the sun was radiant in the sky and the clouds covered just enough of the sky to provide some amazing shade. Underneath that shade was a young woman named Anne. Anne was a dark-skinned woman in her mid twenties, she often wore her curly black hair in a ponytail behind her head.
While underneath the shade of the clouds, she chit-chatted on the phone. An old friend named Claire was moving from their home town to her neighborhood.
"So you'll be down here by Sunday?" Inquired Anne
"Yup! And you can come over and help me unpack if you want to. It'll be a good way for us to catch up!" Claire said excitedly.
"Sounds like a plan to me, see you later Claire"
"Bye!"
The phone clicked and Anne hung up. Thinking about Claire, she was kind of nervous. It had been about 5 years since the two lived around each other. Honestly, she was nervous. The two would often get together every once in a while to catch up but haven't spent more than a few days together since Anne moved. She pondered, wondering if she'd changed since last time. Little did she know however, Claire had changed a lot, maybe for the worst.
