"Tell me," Richard said as he turns on the computer.
I looked in his office. Nothing much was there except for a couple of video tapes and a bunch of papers in the trash. A sofa was lingering with dust in the corner and his desk was moved towards the center of the room. Hundreds of CDs were displayed in the bookshelf as the game franchise was concluded over the years of developing and developing its own content.
"What do you think about the progress of the game?"
And yet I looked again at the CD on my front. It goes by with a cold cup of coffee. A significant thing to assume that I haven't gotten anything in my mind except for the fact that I have been chosen to be the one who tested out the new game.
"Well," I said as I flickered the CD on my fingers, showing its back then its front again. "In terms of its own animation, it was kind of shocking to see this kind of VR."
He clasped his hands and moved forward to face me, showing interest in his very own eyes. "What do you mean?"
"You see, Rick. In all the games I have tested, this one was kind of unexpected to play with. Not because the animation was a kind of different to others but there was something intense to this that pulls me in right after."
He raises his eyebrows as he manages to move his own hands to push me to continue what I was saying.
"Plus, it's the first VR that I've seen that mixed both sci-fi and horror."
"You aren't kidding, right?"
I chuckled in response. "Nope as in N-O-P-E."
"That's good news then, Keila."
"It is," I responded as I nodded my head. "But is it okay to you know, let me take this game at home?"
He chuckled. "Though you should really rest whenever your body needs, okay? I really advice that."
"Of course, Rick. What do you expect me to?"
He lifted his lips. "Just consider resting after jobs. Sometimes, you'll experience something later. Though I just wanted to remind that."
What do you mean? I chuckled again, not rendering the uneasiness suddenly creeping into my skin. "Whatever, Rick. Even if you're my boss now, I just consider it as you're really that weird."
Richard stood up and smiled again. he put out his hand as a sign of welcoming. I looked up, only to see his eyes darkening with something that I can't comprehend. Wonder if I could know this, I just shook my head inwardly and accepted his hand.
"Welcome to Game Dev, Keila. I really hope you'll be comfortable through the days we will be working."
"Whatever, Rick," I answered, and we laughed off.
