Warmth.
It was the first thing I felt when coming out of the pod and into the "New World".
Coming out of the pod I notice a few things.
One, everyone around me is either dead or even more dead.
Two, there is a gigantic hole in the wall and roof
Three, the landscape is scorched.
And finally,
There's a Starbuck's over there.
