A musical date

Carnel's Pov

I woke up, yawning. I stared at Auko and smiled. "Aww, he's adorable." I put the covers over him and I cook breakfast. My tail sways around as if I'm happy, in which I am. Because I am with the man of my dreams, Auko is something I'd never thought would happen to me.

I cooked something simple, scrambled eggs. I separated the eggs on two plates, "Some for my lovely, some for my tummy." I chuckled and set the plates on the table. I stared at the musical instrument cases. "Hmmm, maybe today'll be the day we can play them.... Y'know what fuck it."

I walked over to the cases and grabbed the trumpet. "Golly, this one looks expensive and new." I saw a note and I smiled. "Hey Carnel, I know you're curious and I had this trumpet, knowing you'd open the case, it's for you! I love you." ~Auko "He knew" I chuckled.

I played a little bit and I was a bit rusty but I could still play. Then Auko came out, "Sorry honey, I woke up you up." I smiled, scratching the back of my head. "Well, it's beautiful." He yawned and said, "Y-you're making me blush." I stated and he chuckled. "Well then, I bet I can play better than you." I challenged him.

"Oh yeah?" He sounded confident, I might regret it but hey, I get to hang out with my love. He put the flute together and glared in a competitive way, he played J.S. Bach's Prelude C major. My jaw dropped and I forfeited. Knowing I couldn't beat him. "I'm... Surprised, Auko m'love. Holy shit that was amazing."

"I-it was nothing." He blushed, flattered. "Hey I know! How about we play a duet!" He said, smiling. "Baby, I don't think a trumpet and flute would sound good together," he looked sad, I felt bad for letting him down. "F-fine I guess it'll happen." He smiled with joy and I was happy at least if he was happy.

"We can play Mozart's C major!" I was about to decline. "I know it's fancy and all a original classic, but it's so fucking hard!" I said, trying not to yell. "I can do the fast one, all you need to do is the long notes. It's perfect for a brass instrument like you, plus, maybe we can have some fun tonight." The last bit he said in a seductive tone. He winked and I blushed.

"So... Can we practice?" I asked, he nodded "let me get the sheet music!" I saw him run to the computer. I stared at his butt as it swayed when he ran, I thought it was cute. But I realized. "Wait hon! Isn't the song supposed to be for pianos?" I asked, now noticing that this could be impossible. "Hey, it is, but we can be the first to make it a duet,"

"But where will we do it? At the park?" He nodded and I got nervous, "I never mind." Auko looked at me. "Say something babe?" I shook my head and I kept staring at his butt, his tail wagging and I saw hi, happy as ever. The sheet music is printing and I felt nervous still. "Okay babe, ready.?" I nodded.

3 sheets for both of us, I was observing. God, three sheets of music for one song?! I was overly surprised. Holy shit. Dumbfounded on how a song could be that long. He handed me the sheet and it looked easy, I look at his and his was holy shit it was hell. He acted like he's seen it before and I haven't even seen this song.

We practiced and Practiced, every day, every night. It was summer vacation and we finished school so that's not a problem, we'll both be going to college about at 19 because Auko wanted a break from school and I did too. We practiced for about a ,onto and by golly we did it.

"Hey babe, wanna try it out one last time to see how we sound?" I nod, confident about us playing together. We got the beat, Auko recorded and we played. We were in harmony, the flute and trumpet both having different pitches to harmonize and sound better together, they were both different class instruments, a woodwind and a brass, both wind instruments though, but overall, it was beautiful. I almost cried at how far I've come, good to know my boyfriend majored in music or this would've never had happened.

We played and played, we were almost done until I felt like people were watching, people were but they were more of listening than watching because people at the door could hear us, upstairs and downstairs can, even our neighbors. We played until the end and I heard clapping from all directions, except from the window, because HOW THE HELL WOULD SOMEONE WATCH FROM THE WINDOW?!

"P-people were listening?!" I said, surprised. "Yep, seems like they liked it. I think the whole building was listening. I don't know." He hugged me. "None then less, we sounded great! Thank you for agreeing to do this with me." He kissed my cheek and I made him kiss my lips instead, it was deep and long. We adventured each other's mouths and pulled away, strings of saliva still connecting our mouths.

Days later, we wore suits and a tie, we prepared this at the park, set up a podium for me and Auko to Stand on, it was in an open space so people could watch. "Ladies and gentleman, may I get your attention." Auko said, "Me and my acquaintance would like to play a Mozart's original, C major."

I got nervous until Auko said "you got this babe." He kissed my cheek and we warmed up. People started gathering, sitting down, watching. It was at sundown and it made the scenery look outstanding. Do it for Auko. I breathe and we started playing. We were 30 seconds in and I felt all the nervousness leave my body.

We played in harmony and in the same tempo. About three minutes later, we finished, roses being thrown at us, cheers go wild and clapping could be heard. I hear all the furs say good comments about our performance, I picked up Auko as he set his flute down. I, wait no, we laughed and giggled. He nuzzles my neck and I put him down.

We bow and clean up, walking home. "Thank you again, Carnel." I felt a kiss on my cheek. We got home and we were both undressed. "Sorry, babe. But I don't think we can have fun... We've had fun yesterday (Haha I time skipped it, muahahahaha) "it's fine, I don't want to do it anyways."

He responds. "My ass still hurts." We both chuckle and go to bed together, Auko's asleep, but right when I was about to sleep, I had the urge to piss and I went to the bathroom. I ate a midnight snack, but then something happened. I heard knocking on our door, I opened it and I was surprised.
