Jam's POV
-----------------------------------------------------------

I opened my dark brown eyes slowly and let it explore around. The rays of the sun were starting to creep inside the room. It caught my eyes defining it even more. My eyes started to look for the wall clock. I squinted for a bit but as I realized that it's already 8:30 in the morning, my eyes grew bigger.

Fuck.

How long did I sleep?

I immediately took a quick bath, get my bag, and run as fast as I can to go to school.

I am so late. I'm dead.

As I enter the classroom, eyes everywhere are starting to glare at me, some are wide-opened, looking like they saw a ghost or something.

I didn't put much care about it, as I just sit quickly on my chair. I see no teachers though, and I guess, not all students are here.

"Woahhh, seems like you're too early, dude." She said it while she chuckled.

I looked at my wrist to check the time on my watch but I realized I didn't have enough time to put it on. I was on a rush this morning.

"What?" I asked it out of confusion as I puckered my brows in a frown.

What do you mean?

"Joke's on you, you're too early for the 3rd period." She laughed so much, looking like she enjoyed fooling me.

Oh, I really missed classes. Like literally, not missing it, missed it. Students would understand what I mean.

"You silly little girl," I said it to offend her as a requital for what she has done. She just rolled her eyes at me when she immediately focuses on her long and colored fingernails.

Seriously, Jemma is quite small. Estimated more or less like 5 foot flat. Despite having this size, I guess nothing can stop her from being big-mouthed and gossipy. That's sort of her own power.

I wonder if there's a microphone or a speaker inside her.

"Jemma! Where did everyone go?"

"Well, I don't know about that. Besides, it's our break time, duh." She answered that effortlessly with that 'lazy' accent.

I leave her behind and make my way to the canteen, well I guess that's where my friends would go.

When I got there, I started to let my eyes wander around and look for any of my friends.

As I'm about to explore all the area, my eyes then freeze for a moment as it focuses to capture a clear view of a familiar person.

It's Dwight.

Our eyes met one another as I started to stare at those beautiful blue eyes in front of me. Goddamn attractive.

I wink for a second just before I find myself walking towards his place. He was sitting alone on the corner, again.

"Hey, what's up?" I confidently greet him as I sat on the white chair beside him.

Why am I here again?

"Uhmmm..." He hastily said as if it's the only word he can state. I can see that he's a little bit uneasy right now.

What's with him? He's cute in that manner though.

"Ohhh, what seems to be the problem?" I chuckled questioning him.

Really, why is he acting like that?

"Look, about last night... I didn't mean to." He stops for a few seconds before saying the last words.

"Wait... what happened last night?" I was abrupted but I managed to ask in the calmest way I could.
